He was late because of a job before hand, but notified me and kept me up to date on arrival. He took care of the probably cause of the roof leak, and gave a good description of the issues that will cause problems in the future. These agreed with what my home inspection reported. i will definitely use him to complete the rest of the work.

Ron came out from Ridge Top. He did an inspection of the and patched six small holes he came across while up there.

They were on time, professional, and did a great job. I would highly recommend their services to others. They were very knowledgeable, informative and responsive to my requests. I was very happy with the service.

His service was excellent. I think one person came out although I was not at home. He was super-prompt. They were very professional and knowledgeable.

They were prompt with their service. But I would say what I got for how much I paid was definitely not worth it because I felt they were doing what I could have probably done. I thought they were going to be doing something else. It was a little misleading. I didn't know it included cleaning the gutters. I thought the $100.00 included the actual flashing to inspect and fix any flashing on my chimney. That is when I caught it and when I talked to the person the owner said that wasn't included that would be extra. I felt like I got duped as I thought it was part of the Angie's List deal. They were nice trying to explain everything.

Their staff were really great and responsive. They came to the house to do the estimates on Thursday then the sidings were done on Monday. They are fast and professional. They are friendly.

After meeting with and getting quotes from a few roofing contractors we decided t go with Ridge Top based on their attention to our interests and preferences, and were professional and gave us a fair price (of course we would have preferred it much lower, but doesn't everyone). We were gone on an overnight trip the day before they were scheduled to do the work. When we returned home about mid-day the crew was hard at work. When we found the supervisor we chatted and found the work was mostly done. He informed us that when they removed the existing layers they found no underlying damage to the boards below, which allowed them to keep working away on putting on the new shingles. We did a walk around the house and were quite happy with the way the crew was being conscientious on making sure they did not inadvertent damage to the house or the yard. As the crew finished up several workers went around the house several times looking for waste materials and fallen nails to be sure everything was left as clean as when they came. Of course we did find a few stray nails over the the coming weeks, but nothing of concern. Being very tardy in writing this review, we can say that 3½ years later everything still looks great, rain and snow is being channeled for proper drainage, and we continue to be satisfied with our choice of Ridge Top and the work they did. We would recommend anyone considering similar work talk with them and see if they are still as comfortable to work with now.

They were quick. They pretty much cleaned up after themselves. I would probably give them an 8.5 for cleaning up. The thing that bothered me was the person who was the supervisor, it was a Hispanic crew that worked on it, and I really felt that the company did a disservice by not having a supervisor that spoke Spanish. He tried to communicate as best he could with the one individual that was bilingual. I think that if you are a company and you predominately hire Hispanic people then it should be as a courtesy to your customers and employees that might be subcontracting with you that you should have a knowledge of their language also so that nothing gets missed. It seemed like I could communicate better with them than he could. I would give the supervisor a B. The workers got here and they finished it in a day. There was little things he was supposed to follow up on. He didn't hold up his end of the bargain like double checking the roof, calling me back in a timely manner to glue down one of the tabs on the bottom. I would give the workers an A. The work crew was excellent. It is just the company that stands behind them. I want to give and A for the workers for punctuality and a B for the company. For Professionalism and A for the workers and a B for the company. The one thing that is funny is we have a cape cod, so it is a steep roof and these kids, they were young, were walking on the rafters. He got all mad because one of them punched a small hole in the drywall and I looked at the guy and I said nobody fell off the roof. Nobody killed themselves, nobody injured themselves, I can live with a little hole in my roof, in my drywall coming into my interior. I would have been crushed if one of them were to be injured on the job. For what they had to do, I didn't even want to look at it because nobody was tied off. But nobody fell off the roof, nobody got injured that is all I was worried about.

They showed up to do the roof and decided that they needed to go into the attic to get more information after I had already signed the contract. This required me to get my tenant home from work to give them access when he was there and available when they first came to the property to bid the job. Surprise- An extra $3000 was needed. This delayed the start of the job by another week. No communication through out the job, I had to track them down to find out if it was completed. I made a big expensive mistake using this provider, next time I will use a smaller company that cares about the customer. Make sure your roofing bids are with the Decking included up front.

So far the provider has completed an estimate for the work to be completed. The customer servce has been great throughout this process.

I received several quotes to replace this roof and Ridge top had a very competitive price. I went back and forth several times with the estimator to make sure I understood the job. They arrived pretty early in the morning, I pointed them in the right direction, and left for work. The job was mostly complete when I got back from work. They were planning on returning the next day to install the gutter, but for some reason that did not happen. I called the estimator and he sorted out the problem and the gutter was installed the next day. The roof looks good and the garage has not leaked since they installed the roof. Overall my experience with Ridge Top was positive, but I would have liked a bit more communication. I was told that they would get to the job sometime next week, and that I would receive a call or email to let me know when they would arrive. Instead, they just showed up to do the work on Monday. Similarly, I was told that after the work was complete, that the estimator would come back by and that we would do a final inspection, and pay the remainder of the bill. I assumed that meant that I would get a communication from them to set up a time to meet. After several weeks of not hearing from them, I called the estimator and set up a time to meet. There were a few minor issues with the service that I outlined above, but a quick call to the estimator cleaned them up, so it did not bother me too much.

It went quite well. The management was quite easy to work with, especially the person in charge of the workers. I believe his name is Kevin. He was exceptionally nice and made sure I was satisfied with the job they were doing. The only problem I had was communicating with the workers. They did not speak English and it was very difficult to communicate with them. So, when I had a question, I had to call Kevin. If I ever need roofing services again I would definitely call Ridge Top Exteriors. The management is very trustworthy and they make sure you are satisfied with their work.

Ridge top was over the top in every area . They far exceeded our expectations . As with any project there is always a hiccup , ridge top addressed the hiccup and immediately took charge and fixed it. The experience was not good. They said it would be done in one day and it took a day-and-a-half. At one point I watched them do the work and I noticed there was a section of plywood that had rotted out. If I had not intervened they were going to overlay new shingles over the rotted plywood without replacing the plywood. Their price was comparable with other offers. They were an hour-and-a-half late.

In early August I contacted this firm to have them estimate a project for my commercial building. An appointment was made for August 12th at 10:00 AM. At approximately 9:15 AM that morning, I received a call from their project manager Ron Jacobson cancelling the appointment, with a promise to get back with me to reschedule. When I did not receive a call-back by 8/16 I called again and got voicemail, and left a message. By 8/21, with no call-back I called again and finally got Mr. Jacobson, and made an appointment for early the following week. Mr. Jacobson did come and inspect the project, but said that they did not offer the type of gutter I required, but would check with a sub of theirs to see if they could help, and that he would get back to me. With no further communication from Mr. Jacobson by September 3rd, I called again, only to be told they could not do the job, with the excuse that he forgot to get back to me. I fear that their motto, "Customer service is our #1 goal" is just empty words.

He was great. We called him because several other roofers had looked at the spot--on a balcony overlooking the backyard, with a door leading inside. other roofers suggested it might be from ice dam damage to the roof shingles above, but the rooftop guy was the first person to suggest pouring water onto the frame to find out where the leakage actually was. He immediately found a leak in the threshold, which he sealed. We had several rainstorms and more leakage over the next few days, and the guy came out right away, very determined to fix the problem. We were really grateful for his straightforward approach to the problem, and happy to find out it wasn't an expensive roofing situation.

We contacted RidgeTop Roofing because of the high ratings on Angie's List. The estimator responded quickly to our request, and was very thorough in his inspection. He found the place where the plywood and shingles had pulled away from the roof truss, which we would never have known about until it caused leakage. We felt his estimate was fair, so we gave him a specific date after which the work could begin. Then things started to go downhill. First, we got a call saying that workmen would show up on a date that was earlier than what we had specified. Luckily, the crew could be called off before they showed up. Then two fellows appeared in the back yard on the first day that we had said would be okay, but no one called to alert us to their arrival. They were as surprised to see us as we were to see them. They seemed to have none of the detailed information that the estimator had written down, so we went through it all again, including showing them that we had a partial pack of leftover shingles they could use for the repair. Then they left and did not return. A couple of days later they came back and hammered around on the roof for awhile and left, leaving their ladder leaning up against the eaves. Eventually my husband took it down and stowed it next to the garage. A couple days after that they returned again in the morning and hammered for awhile; then they left; then one came back later and hammered for awhile and told us the job was finished. He had to call a friend to come give his car a jump-start so he could leave. He left the ladder in the driveway to pick up later. We finally moved it back by the garage. A couple days later they took it away. Subsequently, the estimator called to ask if we were satisfied with the job. We said that as far as we could tell the work was okay, but we had little confidence in it because of the erratic scheduling and the overall lack of professionalism. We asked him to come back and get up onto the roof and check it out for us. He did, and declared the job well done. We aren't sure what to make of this experience. I guess we thought that roofers working for such a high-rated company would show up in a spiffy truck with ladders on top, perhaps wearing clothing that bore the company's logo, and have the job done in a day or two. We wouldn't say that we would never use them again; mainly we just hope that we don't have any more roof problems for a long time to come.

Ron from Ridge Top came and inspected my roof. He was professional and very knowledgeable. He recommended a few steps that no other roofer recommended in regards to solving my leaking roof. He was also able to fit my lob in fairly quickly, which was very helpful due to the fact that my roof was leaking. They performed some work, and after is was finished, Ron came back to see if it fixed the problem. We found that it did not fix the problem, however Ron recommended another area to fix, and did not charge me extra to do the second round of work because the first job I paid for did not fix the problem. This level of service is rarely seen these days, and was quite impressive. Not only was Ron able to fix a problem that a majority of the other companies in the area could not fix (or would not even attempt), but his service level and integrity was well above others that I have worked with. I speak from experience that these guys know what they are doing, and they do great work when compared to others in the area. I highly recommend Ron and his team.

I had some work done by a new employee that wasn't great. After letting them know they sent out their second highest manager who got on my roof and provided me with the proper assistance when looking into my leaking roof.

I purchased a big deal for them. They were fantastic. I actually haven't paid them yet, because they haven't done the final walk through. But he is in contact with me. I can't say enough about them; they were wonderful. Ron was wonderful. He was the one that oversaw the work of his crew out here. He actually had to reschedule because of all the rain we were having. So they came out on a Saturday and did it. It was so big that they couldn’t get it finished. Then they had to seal it to make sure that rain didn’t get in, because they were still working through all the rain. They were wonderful to work with. They rescheduled for a Saturday, because they had so many roofs because of all the rain that we had and the winds. I would go back to them anytime. They cleaned up everything. They went around and picked up what they messed up. They were really good. I didn’t have anything wrong with that roof, which is twenty five years old. We have had no problems with it whatsoever. He said that he will be real honest with me and that I can go another year or two. I wanted the peace of mind. We are going to sell the house at some point maybe five years, but why shouldn’t I have the peace of mind instead of somebody else. When we were trying to decide the color, they called and got addresses of people in our area they had done before and sent us out to look at the roof. The price was excellent. We had other estimates.

The overall work performed was satisfactory however as we are a government funded agency there is certain important paperwork that needs to be filled out and filled. To date we have gotten a total run around with one broken promise after another. This was the second roofing job that was done in a span of about 45 days.

I cannot recommend Ridge Top highly enough! The work was done on time, professionally, and at the estimated cost with no surprises or hidden costs or bait-and-switch games whatsoever. Everyone cleaned up after themselves. Most importantly, the new roof and gutter work beautifully! Things went so smoothly in large part because the estimator, Tim K, was extremely knowledgeable, responsive, and professional, patiently taking the necessary time when it was convenient for me to discuss the work and to listen carefully to me so that every last detail was addressed before the work was started. Moreover, I felt that Tim was extremely trustworthy. I had 3 other bids on the roof, but Tim was the only one who said that our lower flat roof had another 5 years of life in it and thus did not need to be replaced at this time, whereas the other roofers all said the lower roof needed to be replaced. Tim convinced me he was right, though, because he showed me how the seams on the upper roof were coming apart and there were areas of obvious sponginess beneath the membrane, whereas none of these problems were to be found on the lower roof. Needless to say, I respect this kind of honesty immensely. The take-away is that, unlike the other 3 roofers I spoke to, Ridge Top is interested in doing the job right for me as a homeowner, not in pushing the big job for them as a company. The foreman of the crew, James, also met with me to address any issues, and sent me digital photos of the work on the roof as it was progressing to save me the trouble of jumping on a ladder and going up there myself?though he was also glad to have me up there. And as though that weren't enough, the owner of the company, Larry, dropped by to make sure that all the work was going smoothly to my satisfaction. He was generous with his time and his advice about connected remodeling issues, which I appreciated immensely. The gutter was put on by a different crew, which seemed to be a subcontractor, and I was not displeased with their work, either. When I asked the foreman Miguel about cleaning, he recommended using either a leaf blower, or for more stubborn debris a high-pressure hose. He also showed me how to remove the rain guards for a more thorough cleaning. And he thoughtfully gave me a bag of hex screws in case I lost any while cleaning. Bottom line: Ridge Top is an excellent, dependable, trustworthy, professional operation through and through. I look forward to using them again when the lower roof needs replacing and for any other future work. I would recommend them to my friends and neighbors most highly indeed!

Ron said that we had two options for the repairs. We could spend thousands of dollars to go back and do he flashing and put in these boots or we could just put some caulk around the areas where the leaks are occuring and this would be very inexpensive. We opted to go that route and he came out and did it for free for us since he was in the area doing another job. Our roof lines are difficult at best and he was up walking around on the roof two times for us and didn't charge us a thing. We will use Ridge Top Roofing when we need to replace our shingles!!!

Ron was great! he explained things and went the extra mile. We were very pleased and would use them again.
