Description of Work: We were delighted with Peters Painting Contractors. Eric Peters was on site frequently to supervise a crew of professional workmen. In contrast to the last time we had our house painted, they spent four days (!) prepping the house: scraping, sanding, priming. The finished result makes the house look like it was built this year--not decades ago. My highest accolade is to say that Peters Painting treated my house with the same care that they might have used with their own dwellings. They did a superb job, and I would recommend them enthusiastically to anyone who doesn't want to cut corners and wants a first-class job. I expect we could have spent slightly less money, but we would not have the finished result we now have--not just a painted house but a house of which we are justifiably proud.

Description of Work: We had our garage ceiling, half-bath, window jams, deck and basement ceiling repaired, prepared and painted/stained. The drywall work was well done. The painting was well done. The two-man crew was polite, professional, and quiet. The primary contact person checked in at least once every day and was responsive to my questions and suggestions. They left our site perfectly clean.

Description of Work: Miscellaneous projects--refinishing the front door and some cat-damaged kitchen and powder room cabinets, repainting banisters and handrails on the front porch and deck. This doesn't sound like much, but these were tedious and time-consuming with lots of prep work.
