Work went very well. Paramount was very conscientious and responsive. There were a few minor issues on keeping the yard clean, but I attribute much of that to windy conditions during installation. I would use them again.

They let us know it would be 15 days before starting the project and they started when they said they would. They had originally estimated the work taking one day and it took 2 days. There was one corner, about two feet, on the porch where they needed to come back and install some overlapping finishing shingles. They had not communicated that they ordered these shingles. They cleaned up well after themselves and were professional. We had received three estimates and they were by far the lowest-priced. This price difference was due to the amount of ice and water shield they used. Most places use 6 ft and they use 3 ft. We negotiated on the amount of ice and water shield in certain areas so that areas that were prone to ice dams would have 6 ft. of ice and water shield. They offered to do so at their own expense.

Scott was very helpful working with my insurance company on an unsuccessful attempt to get insurance to cover the replacement. He met with the insurance adjuster and called the company himself to follow-up. He was very communicative. The work was performed when expected and the quality was good.

It took some time to get it scheduled but the finished product was very nice.

It was seamless. When construction began I was completely impressed at the level of attention the crew provided knowing that this was an unplanned, unbudgeted project. It was in the middle of the summer season and I had people coming in and out with summer activites. The workers were sure to accomodate any activity I had planned. Now the project is complete, my house is amazing. I can already tell the difference with the exterior and interior changes. My cooling and heating expenses will decline and my home should not need any work other than maintenance for many years to come. Thanks to Paramount Roofing.

The experience with Paramount went really well. We looked at a number of options for roofing and received several bids. Mike did a great job stepping us through the process and we never really felt pressured. The estimate for the steel shingles from Paramount was $15K less than a bid from an aluminum shingle firm. We added larger gutters and downspouts all around the house as recommended. The work crew spent over a week on the house. They were extra careful with the steel shingle cuts as they are trimmed by using tin snips to seal the cut. Some portions of the house were difficult, but all new flashing was installed. The final product looks great and matches the historic character of the house. (We did need to get permission from our historic preservation commission to move forward, but with pictures of other houses and a sample of the shingle, it was no problem.) We've had several people ask us about the roof since it was installed. The only unanticipated cost came when the gutters were installed. The cost of gutter guards was not included in the bid and I hadn't realized the cost of good guards are as expensive as the gutters themselves. However, the gutter crew also found that our older porch roof (not part of this job) had a hole. Mike's crew repaired about a 4X4 ft. area with plywood and re-shingled (asphalt) for only $100 extra. I really appreciated that. By the way, the roof is not any noisier during a rain storm than our old asphalt roof. We've also yet to compare the third floor converted attic for differences in summer heat. Since we went with a lighter brown shingle, it should be a lot cooler up there.

We are extremely happy with Paramount. Mike came out to do our estimate which they provided that same day. They were installing the roof within two weeks time. Jose, the foreman was very helpful and answered all of my questions. The team worked hard and completed the entire job in one day as promised. Our roof looks wonderful. Their price quote was middle of the road, and was fair. We highly recommend Paramount and would use them in the future.

Initially an insurance adjuster did not assess our damage as severe enough to replace the entire roof though nearly all of our neighbors for several blocks roofs replaced as a result of the Spring 2011 hailstorms. We asked Paramount to assess the damage and when significant problems were identified, Mike worked through an adjustment appeal on our behalf and was successful in getting authorization to replace the roof and skylights. When we discovered that our insurance company provided incentives for installation of a select group of Class-4 Asphalt shingles,Paramount was very helpful in identifying which manufacturer products could be sourced for Wisconsin, quoting various options, acquiring samples and sorting through various installation requirements in terms of companion products and required manufacturer techniques to ensure maximum warranty coverage. The work crew was courteous and professional and they adjusted installation dates to fit our calendar and minimize impact on plants in our yard. Ideally, they could have made one final pass on cleanup and they left an underlayment stapler on the roof, but they returned promptly when called and completed the final 10 minutes of cleanup and a last walk around. We had a roof replaced on another house several years ago on a different home with different contractor and we cannot tell you how much more positive the experience was with Paramount. The original estimate was right on and the roof looks great!

We signed a contract in Fall, 2011 knowing weather would determine the start date. Installation began the first week of April 2012. The crew arrived promptly the morning of April 2 and continued to completion on April 11. They worked steadily and did a good job of cleaning up at the end of the day. The crew was pleasant and courteous. Company President Mike and wife Peggy were diligent about checking on progress, answering question and were anxious to assure our satisfaction. A new roof is inherently expensive. We believe it was a fair price based on comparisons to asphalt and aluminum--considering longevity and quality of metal roofing. We give Paramount roofing a strong endorsement and would recommend them to others.

The crew started on time and finished in budget. They did a great job and kept us informed during the whole process.
