We have worked with Madison Block and Stone in the past and have always been impressed with their efficiency. We call them the "McDonald's of the Stone World". We drove the truck through the scale and they had a bobcat ready to load us up! We never had a bad experience in the many times we used them for our landscape projects (including building a patio and pond 3 years ago). They have a great system for customer service and a awesome display area.

Madison Block and Stone educated us about the relative properties of countertop options, provided prompt estimates, returned phone calls promptly, and did a beautiful job of coordinating with our general contractor when we were remodeling our kitchen. They honored their schedule, were professional and courteous. We're extremely happy with our dealings with them.

We needed landscape rock so ordered that. Delivery was very punctual and the deliverer placed it in small loads around the side of the house to help us with distributing the rock. Then we needed top soil and wound up placing 2 orders. Again, very professional and punctual. We are quite pleased with the services we received and would definitely use this business again.

Exceeding expectations

Great. I looked at MANY countertop places. This is a relatively small outfit, and it costs a little more, but you can be confident it will be done right. The representative who came to my house initially prepared a very detailed measurement, and the person doing the measuring was also the person doing the installing (an important but rare thing in installations). And, they did a great job. It is also nice that they do onsite fabrication at their shop---lots of places send out to have silestone fabricated remotely. All and all, not the cheapest, but I would rank them as the best. It was one aspect of my kitchen remodel I did not have to think about or worry about.

We met the company's granite specialist at a home show in March, and selected the company based on our discussion with him - and after speaking with representatives from three other different vendors. We met later with the Madison Block and Stone salesman in the showroom, where we made an initial selection of the stone and came to an agreement on the price of the stone, a heavy-gauge steel sink and a new faucet, the removal of the old countertops and installation of the new ones. (We had to hire a plumber to unhook the old sink and then reconnect the new sink after the counters were installed. That cost approximately $350, including some re-piping to accommodate the new sink's dimensions) The installation specialist came to our home shortly after our meeting in the showroom to measure the space and discuss an additional overhang area where we could put stools and sit. Within another couple of weeks the stone was cut and brought back to the home, where removal of the old countertops and installation of the new countertops took about half a day. The installer had to come back once to correct some jagged looking caulking, which we did not initially know could be painted over. We are extremely happy with the workmanship and love the amazing stone we selected.

We had done some research to see what we wanted to use. It is a classic countertop look. They are really durable and they use them in chemical labs because they don't react to chemicals a lot. They are a fabricator. A guy came out to measure and verify the size to see what pieces they would need. They brought them back and installed them. They look awesome. I was really pleased with the people there and they had the style we wanted. I was pleased with the price. I would definitely hire them again. They were fantastic.
