She educated me so much on what I should be looking for and what was realistic. I never felt rushed and I never felt like she was impatient with me. We had a short window to make our first visit to the Madison area to search for a new home. Tobi cleared much of her schedule to be able to help us. With pre-coordination before our arrival, in the first two days of our visit, Tobi was able to show us a variety of houses in areas that suited our needs. She listened to what we were wanting, and although the number of houses that fit the bill was limited, gave us good options. We were able to find a house we liked, pay it a second visit and put in an offer by day 3. Tobi was very helpful pointing out features of a house that we might have overlooked. She also was good at explaining the Madison area housing market, and the characteristics of the various Madison neighborhoods. She was there for us during our walk-throughs and closing. She made the whole process uncomplicated and enjoyable. We were impressed with her knowledge of not only the existing home market but the builders as well. We ended up confidently buying a new home in a great neighborhood and are looking forward to our new life in Madison. We would recommend her to any friend looking to buy in the Madison area.

I initially spoke with Rachel regarding purchasing a house. She specializes as a buyer's agent and suggested I talk with Liz Lauer regarding the sale of my condo. I met with Liz and she was well prepared for the meeting. She had provided research regarding condo sales around my area and provided a suggested starting price. She gave me ideas on how to stage the condo for showings. She explained her marketing campaign and discussed the housing forecast. I felt very confident that she could sell my condo for close to the asking price. Shortly before I met with her, I had been contacted by a buyer to see my condo that was listed as Make Me an Offer on Zillow.com. I ended up receiving an offer from this buyer. I had planned on listing with Liz if the buyer did not make an offer on the condo.

Liz and her team could not have done a more stellar job for me. Early on I was very eager to get a house, and Liz did a great job of reeling me in and made sure that I did not pay too much for a house, even though she could have made a quick commission and moved on to another client. She was CLEARLY always looking out for the best interest of the client. She was always very honest about providing feedback, both positive and negative, about any houses we would look at. It was so wonderful having an agent who I could trust 100% start to finish for the whole project. Liz and her team were true professionals: prompt, honest, responsive, and eager to help in every way. Liz has a motto on her website that says "the last realtor you will ever need." I could not have said it better myself. She and her team do live up to their reputation as being one of the very top realtors in Madison.

Liz Lauer helped my husband and I purchase our first home as well as sell it. As a buyer's agent, Liz was extremely knowledgeable about the area neighborhoods and houses. She was very easy going and fun to work with. Liz was also very good at identifying what kind of house we wanted and forthright about the conditions of the houses we saw. She helped us find and obtain the exact kind of house in the neighborhood we wanted within our budget. One week before the closing, a major problem arose on the buyer's end that would have jeopardized the sale of our home and impeded our ability to purchase the home in which we were about to move. It was midday Friday on the start of a holiday weekend, with a mere four business hours remaining prior to closing, and Liz ensured the problem was resolved on time. Our house sold as scheduled thanks to her tenacity. Liz even helped us find a realtor to use in the city we moved to by speaking with agents until she found one that would be able to best understand our needs. My husband and I highly recommend Liz Lauer and will use her services again should we ever move back into the area.

We needed to relocate from out of state fairly quickly and wanted to find a house within our price range but also close to the University. We were also first-time home buyers. Liz Lauer and associates really knew the area and the market well, and were able to show us several houses in just a few days that met our qualifications. Being out of town clients, it was challenging to find time to efficiently look for a condominium property. We had been using a different realtor who could not exactly figure us out. As a couple we had somewhat different goals and expectations for the kind of property we wanted. We were a bit frustrated until we were referred to Liz Lauer by a local resident while chatting in a bar. We were told that Liz really knows the neighborhoods we were interested in. We have never regretted working with Liz. She was patient and waited for us to realize what we wanted, although she seemed to know that before us! We told Liz Lauer we wanted to move to a condo in Madison from our house in Chicago. After she showed us a dozen places over 2 or 3 days, we settled in on a particular style of condo at Cherokee Gardens. Liz called us within a few hours of every new listing in that area, and we found our dream condoin just a few weeks. Our experience with Liz was wonderful. She came to our house and gave us honest and open opinions from the day we first met her. She is clearly quite experienced in the market and with us living out in Oregon and her having so many listings in Madison, we weren't sure if she would be able to sell our home due to not knowing the area as well, but we always felt in good hands. She was able to bring in showings from people out of the area, which we didn't think would happen. We were selling our house in a buyers market and a very low market, so we didn't get as much for it as we hoped, but Liz kept it in perspective for us, as well as our ultimate goal of building our own home.
