 + -1 moreHe got back to me in a timely fashion to schedule a visit. On the scheduled day he arrived on time, and was friendly and professional. The work that was done was done quickly and he was explaining what the problem with how some of the wiring was setup in the panel. The work area was kept clean after the work was finished.
Description of Work: I contacted Mark to have some electrical panel issues corrected. A double tapped breaker, and some double tapped neutrals. As well as give an estimate for upgrading my panel from 100A to 200A.

 + -1 moreGreat. Communication was easy. He came several days in advance of the scheduled MGE power shutoff to do grounding work and install rods. He arrived on time and finished the panel upgrade the same day. He came back shortly thereafter to do the a/c cutoff in the backyard. He always either answered his phone or called back promptly.
Description of Work: Mark replaced my old Wadsworth 12 space panel with a new Cutler Hammer 30 space panel, updated the grounding to current code (by putting in a couple of grounding rods and regrounding the water pipes). He reworked some conduit in order to replace the panel. In addition he installed a cutoff switch out back for an a/c unit which he connected to the panel to a new double pole breaker.

They gave us a quick estimate and were very clear and forthcoming that they would have difficulty completing the work in the time frame we needed, because of other projects. We appreciated that communication.
Description of Work: Larson gave an estimate for whole-house replacement of knob and tube wiring for a house we were considering purchasing.

The on-site estimate and the actual work were performed with skill and alacrity. Initial contact to job completion in less than 24 hours. Neat, clean, and no mess left behind. I expect to have additional electrical work done in the future. Larson Electric will be my vendor of preference.
Description of Work: Installed two new ceiling light fixtures in the kitchen. The old ones were mismatched and one of them had begun to function intermittently. Repaired brittle insulation on the electrical wiring.

 + -1 moreOverall, Larson came to the house to update our 60 amp service. They came in, were efficient, performed extra tasks like wiring for an electric dryer, and finished up with great efficiency. They did not mind working around me, and were great about me asking questions and learning from them. Their price was not the cheapest, but was competitive enough that we had them do the work.
Description of Work: Larson Electric came to update our 60 amp service to 200 amp. They were prompt with both estimates and the work done, and were able to accommodate special wiring concerns and requests that I had. I am an avid DIYer, and the gentlemen from Larson were able to sell me a tool that I needed to finish some wiring right off the back of their truck. I have used it ever since.
