Description of Work: Landscape design and implementation front yard.

Description of Work: Steve met with me to ascertain what I wanted - a path from my front sidewalk to the side of the house with a small sitting area incorporated, the whole to tie all the front landscaping together visually. He provided an estimate, and was prompt in scheduling at a time convenient to me. The crew was punctual, skillful and efficient, completing the job in a day and a half, installing the crushed granite path and patio, additional planting beds and edging, along with a paver border. He also replaced 5 alpine current and 2 yew foundation shrubs with new varieties more suitable, and added mulch. I liked being able to communicate with Steve by email with my questions and decisions. He was always prompt responding.

Description of Work: We recently purchased a home and the front and side yards were in need of some TLC. The yard needed major weeding, grass planted, perennial plants and mulch. Tim and his crew came in the morning and did the entire job in 1/2 a day!

Description of Work: Steve has provided different services over 2 years or so. He drew up a plan for replacing old and overgrown shrubs after the house was painted. The design works well and I am happy with it. The plants are healthy, and we discussed all aspects before the job was done. The trees and shrubs are healthy, and some are varieties I have not seen all over. In 2010, I needed a change, and a solution to a water problem. The water level is high as I live near the lake, and the sump pump runs much of the year, making the yard and garden soggy. The plants that I had were pretty for part, but not all, of the summer. He suggested an Arroyo stream and a rain garden. It looks like a little river, drains the water away from the house into a lower area of the garden (rain garden), and he planted water-loving plants and trees. It also drains two downspouts from the eaves. It is a great solution. It looks lovely, works with the rest of the yard, and does a good job of moving the water away from the house. It is mostly planted with native species of plants. No more bee balm and cone flowers! Steve has always been available and willing to consult. I have also bought mulch from Landscape Designs, Inc. It is good quality, they deliver when they say they will, and they will split a load in different driveways. Very reliable.
