I was very pleased with the experience! I think a guy named Randy came out who was very professional, nice, and very knowledgeable. They installed it in less than an hour and a half and billed me a week later. This was the part I was most pleased with because I was looking for a place that accepted American Express and on the bill I had 30 days to pay them without having to pay a penalty. This is great because I am going to wait to that 30th day, pay it, and then pay AMEX a month later without having to pay any finance charges. I get my credit card points and do not have to have the bill hit my checking account for nearly 3 months! Another thing I found very interesting was that he said that Capital Water Softener are not licensed plumbers but instead certified appliance installers (or something to that effect). He said that they can do a "hack job" if you get the wrong guy so in essence I had a licensed plumber install a Capital Water Softener for $50 less than Capital would have charged. I'll be using these guys for all of my plumbing needs from now on.

Work was carried out as expected, new unit was installed and setup, old unit was removed and taken away, I did not have to do anything once setup and running. I got a bill in the mail a couple of weeks later for the price as quoted.

Work done on time as promised and quoted. I has had them install a new water softener two years ago, at that time they had the best price and work was also done on time and as promised.

They came out right away for quote, very professional and were selling to do the job on the same day. They came in right on estimate and they finished the job same day and their prices were very competitive.

During a roof repair, the roofers discovered that the sewer vent pipe was broken. Fitchburg Plumbing was able to make it out to my house with very little advance notice at a fair price and work with the roofer to move the location of the sewer pipe and repair the break.
