He made an appointment that was very convenient with my schedule. He examined the window, took measurements, etc. He told me he would have to order the glass and that it would take about a week. A week later he called me and said the window was in. We made another appointment for him to come by and install it. He came and it took about 45 minutes. Everything went exactly as he told me it would. It cost what he told me it would cost.
Description of Work: He repaired a broken window (picture window with double paned glass).

I contacted John on a Wednesday, and he quoted me $175 from my description over the phone and was prepared to do the work the next day. We set the appointment for 1pm, and he arrived at 12:30pm. From the moment he arrived, he had a bad attitude. He claimed I told him I only had 3 panels, when I definitely told him 5 panels. There was some confusion about the service elevator (I live in a condo) and he became extremely flustered and frustrated. The work took a little over 2 hours, and he created a very stressful environment, even swearing and saying ''this is *expletive* ridiculous'' after agreeing to take two panels downstairs for an additional $25. He made two minor holes in the drywall, and ripped a small hole in the floor molding. His dolly also left grease marks on my carpet. John gave me a good price and completed the work in a timely manner. However, he was extremely unprofessional and had a bad attitude. I would not hire him again.
Description of Work: I had 5 panels of floor to ceiling mirrors removed from two walls measuring a total of 17 feet. The mirror panels also had skinny pieces covering the seams.

John gave me a quick estimate over the phone. His estimate was the lowest of places I called, so I went with him. He came out and measured the window and sliding glass door, and gave me a firm price very close to the quick estimate. Because the window was custom size, he asked for half of the payment up front. I had scheduled with him to come back about a week later, but at the last minute something came up and I asked him to re-schedule. He was very accommodating and came out a few days later, efficiently installed the glass, and it looks great.
Description of Work: Replaced the double-paned glass in one window, and in one 5 foot sliding glass door.
