Description of Work: Ader did a fabulous job taking care of an emergency water leak we had coming through our electrical panel (corroded meter box). Very detail oriented, knowledgeable and so nice to interact with. His subsequent quote for the electrical panel and meter box replacement was quite reasonable so no-brainer to have him take care of that when weather gets more hospitable (will update on that service when commenced). My go-to electrician from now on.

Description of Work: I was looking to have the main electrical panel upgraded. Company rep was knowledgeable and provided a fair estimate. Reason I didn't have the work done was the total cost was more than I expected. I checked with other providers and found the job would be around $2500 - about $1000 more than I anticipated.

Description of Work: Electricity in bathroom wasn't working. It's a new house for us so we weren't sure where the reset was and couldn't find a tripped circuit so we called them. It turned out the reset was in the bathroom closet and they found it and reset it. They also installed a small light fixture in my daughters closet. The one they used looks cheap and I wished I had gone and bought my own but that obviously wasn't their fault

+ 1 moreHelping Hand went right to work and cleaned up the area he worked in. The ceiling fans & lights were much appreciated the same day installed. We discussed what to do about my blowing circuit every time I used my powerful vacuum and he troubleshot to split the circuit instead of adding a circuit which saved me money. My kitchen sink lights never worked properly for 10 years and he replaced with nice and bright light fixtures that I love. Our bathroom exhaust fan broke after he was finished with his work and came the next day, at the latest notice because we had to have it in before a different crew was scheduled to come the very next early morning to install insulation into our attic. He came and installed a new fan that works much better that out last one. I appreciated the timeliness and courtesy he showed in our of despair.
Description of Work: Helping Hand sent estimate right away and went right to work of installing electricity & ceiling fans to three bedrooms, improving & replacing light fixtures over sink in kitchen, replaced our broken ceiling (exhaust) fan in bathroom and split a circuit so my powerful vacuum works without continuing to blow my circuit. Ader was very responsive, professional and his estimate was right on! He cleaned up the work area very well. I will call him again for any other electrical issues we may have in the future.

We communicated by e-mail after his first contact and I found his written work to be very professional. I used him because he was recommended on Angie's List and was very happy with the quality of the work. There were some issues with the wiring in my older home. He replaced what he needed to and explained what he was doing when he ran into a problem. He cleaned up and was very willing to make sure that I was happy with the completion of the job. I wanted to find an electrician that I would be happy to use again for other jobs and will do so.
Description of Work: Mr. Viloria installed three light fixtures, two outdoor outlets and a ceiling fan with a light fixture and remote control.

Description of Work: An electrical outlet had shorted out and damaged the rooms electrical wiring. The room was rewired and given its own circuit breaker along with new outlets installed as well. Wall re-plastered & sanded in damaged areas.

+ -1 moreThe position of the lights was professionally mapped before any work began. After that, he worked rapidly to install the cans and pull the wiring. He had to cut a small square of drywall to expose some blocking that needed to be drilled. He repaired this very nicely, and I finished it and re-painted. I am very happy with these lights, and Ader's service.
Description of Work: Ader installed recessed lighting in my home. This included 4 lights for general purpose, and 2 eyeball lights for spot use. He installed high-quality switches with dimmers, and a separate three-way that controls general lighting. This was a retro-fit job (not new construction) so Ader had to perform much of his work in the attic. Ader used quality "new construction" cans that attach to the rafters where he could. He also removed the blown insulation and carefully replaced it when the job was done.

+ 1 moreAder called ahead on the scheduled day, arrived on time. He followed through on the installation of the fan and light fixture exactly as he had described it to us. He measured the exact location for the fan, being aware of how it should be centered, and double-checked with us before proceeding. He was extremely conscientious as he worked. He laid down clean drop clothes in each area, swept up after himself and put everything back as it was before. When the installation was finished he explained the maintenance and warranty of the fan and light fixture, as well as options for settings. After the fan/light was installed, he replaced faulty electrical outlets in two other bedrooms. His work was steady, efficient and highly professional in all areas.
Description of Work: The master bedroom in our house did not have a ceiling light fixture and we wanted to install a fan/light fixture. We called Ader to determine if it would be possible and to give us an estimate of the cost. He came to our house, evaluated the situation and provided a detailed estimate. He explained each step of the process and options for various switches and access to the area through the attic. He was extremely polite, courteous and professional throughout the process. He demonstrated a complete understanding of the scope of the job. He clearly knows what he's doing.
