Description of Work: A lot of our outlets were old and so worn out that plugs would just fall out of them. They replaced those. One of them had stopped working. They traced the problem to a bathroom outlet that had gotten wet, and replaced that outlet with one that meets code. They were friendly, prompt, and courteous. I will call them in the future.

Description of Work: Ran a line from the atic down to the second floor master bathroom wall to power a towel warmer. Work in actic was dirty (insullation) and cramped but he didn't complain. Getting the wire down to the exact spot the box wass needed to fit the warmer was tedious, again no complaints. When the box was in, he even helped mount the towel warmer. Thurough clean-up. Had about $75 in extra charges for supplies, etc. Excellent job.

Went well.
Description of Work: I bought the discounted services from Angie's List. The owner seemed knowledgeable, had the proper equipment and solved my problem. The problem I had with the experience is that (I think) I purchased two hours of work via the Angie's List offer, but I do not feel that I got two hours worth of effort and the owner did not seem to want to give anything more than what it would take to fix my one problem. I simply feel a bit shorted. This is the inherit danger to these group purchasing offers - the buyer expects the same product and the seller (getting 25% of the usual income) feels something completely different in many cases. The good thing is that the owner gave me a GFCI outlet as part of the deal.

Description of Work: We contacted Helping Hands Electric on three occasions trying to get an estimate for work to be completed. The first time we called, they called us back two days later. We said that we wanted an estimate for work we wanted to schedule for the first week of July (because that's when we're moving to Madison). They asked us to email a list of what we wanted done (which I did while I was on the phone with them). I included the electrical portion of our inspection report (which he said to do, as well). He said he would email us back an estimate, probably the next morning. We never heard from them. After one week, I emailed again just checking to see if they received the first email, and where they were at with the estimate process. It's been a week since I sent the follow-up email, but we still haven't heard anything. We're very disappointed in this because it can be difficult to find people who do good, trustworthy work. Based on the other reviews, it seemed like this company would be a good bet. Unfortunately, we won't be able to find out.

He was great!
Description of Work: Ader replaced two outside plugs including weatherproof covers. He also installed a new doorbell and then replaced four under counter kitchen lights. I can't say enough about how professional he was and what a great job he did! He also cleaned up any mess resulting from the jobs performed. Will definitely call him again in the future!

Description of Work: Adar replaced a 100 amp service box that some in the industry rated as a fire hazard with a 200 amp box. He had to replace the mast, put a new box with meter on the outside of the house, and reground the entire service bringing it up to code. He also replaced two bathroom fans, updated the bathroom outlets to GFIC's, moved a wall switch from one side of the room to the other, killed a switch in one room, added a hall outlet, added a closet light, five recessed hall lights, and a new outdoor outlet. The work took a week and was completed as promised. His price was comparable to the other estimates I received. I was impressed with Adar's skill, knowledge, and professionalism, and I would highly recommend him.

Description of Work: I had multiple electrical issues that took out the electricity to an entire wall of my multi-level home but the crisis really happened when the laundry machines both stopped working....4 ppl who procrastinate laundry...just imagine the nightmare. It was my first time using Angie's list, let alone an unknown service person....and He rocked! He was honest, ethical, coulda ripped me off so easy and didn't. Try to find an electrican like that...u can't. There's is an absolute reason why he deserves to continue to get the Angie's list award every single year for the electricans. I would trust him with any electrical work and refer anyone family or friend to him. And, since I have had very bad experiences with service people in many areas.....I know a good one when I get one...and he's the best I've had the privilege of hiring. Thanks, Helping Hand (perfect name for his biz)

No work performed.
Description of Work: Ader showed up right on time to walk the home and see what needed to be done on a pretty major electrical service change. He said he could help us. However, he never got me an estimate even after repeated requests. I still haven't heard back.
