Description of Work: I have had good service from this company several times in the past. I called because of problems with my computer unsuccessfully running CHKDSK every time I turned it on and also failing to backup on command. The technician took care of the CHKDSK problem but I am still unable to back up to my external hard drive.

Description of Work: The price might seem high, but I had service at my home two different times plus another half hour or so of step-by-step help on the phone -- and I got a thin-screen monitor that was only a couple of years old, in contrast to my 12-year old box monitor. I was having considerable trouble accessing different sites and coordinating my two linked computers. Miles was smart, intuitive, creative, totally helpful. I would definitely call Geek World again for help and for advice.

Description of Work: I was very distressed when my Microsoft Works Word Processing software became corrupted and I was unable to download files. In addition, I had misplaced the Works CD so I couldn't reload the software. I called Geek World to come out, and instead Chris was able to tell me what to do over the phone without any charge! Several phone calls went back and forth and I really appreciated his willingness to work with me.

+ -1 moreThey work quickly so the customer is not charged for extra time. They are willing to talk you thru things over the phone if they think you can do part of the work yourself.
Description of Work: These guys have done work for us several times. Once on my old computer and recently, when I needed a new power supply on my 1 yr old Dell. They came to the house and problem-solved to find out where the computer problem is in the system.
