Gartmann Maintenance & Management

I did not have a good experience. As a matter of fact, it was the worse experience I ever had. I hired James Gartmann of Gartmann Renovations to do some work to secure my sagging garage roof. He sent a contract indicating work to be done and cost. I agreed and paid half up front on the day the project began. The work done was certainly not what was agreed upon and was minimum at best. He agreed that what I initially paid did not equate to the work done and agreed to make an adjustment and provide some refund. He indicated many times that he would mail a check, or drop off a check. He never did and I still have not received refund payment to date so I am filing a small claim and I am filing a complaint with the State of Wisconsin This has been most disappointing, time consuming, and shows a lack of good faith on Gartmann Renovations.

James renovated my bathroom. He installed a new bathtub, new flooring including a subfloor, new vanity, mirror and light fixtures. He also added, at my request, grab bars for extra safety. The bathroom turned out beautiful.
