We got on the site and filled out the forms and took pictures. They only allow 10 pictures. That was a let down as the MLS allows 25 pictures. We got minimal traffic from the website. Most people saw the open house signs we put out and came by. We also found the website to not be working properly. When we tried to print forms they did not work. We emailed them to let them know the problem and got no response. We had 3 open houses and maybe a dozen people altogether came by. No offers. Finally decided to put it on the MLS using their flat fee service. We emailed them Thursday night and did not hear anything the next day. We also called and left a message on their voicemail. Again, no response. We decided to go with another flat fee company and after emailing them Friday night we immediately got a phone call back and an appointment for the next day. It was on the MLS by Sunday. (In FSBO's defense, we did find an email several days later in our spam filter. They would not have been able to come out until the following Monday during work hours.Never got a phone call back from our voicemail, however.) Within 24 hours of being listed on the MLS we received 3 offers. Once the FSBO people saw that we listed with somebody else they took down our listing on their site. This, despite us paying their fee that was to be active for 6 months. This retaliatory attitude, poor customer service and low turnout from their site made us happy to leave them and not recommend them to others. They used to be better as we have used them in the past (10 years ago). They definitely have fewer listings than in the past. The above referenced reasons are why they may be losing business. It's why we left.
Description of Work: They provided forms and a website to list your house on. Also, a yard sign was installed and open house signs were given to us.
