The work was done very well and on budget. Tim and Alex are good to work with. We discovered one small problem with the work after it was completed, which they came back and fixed right away, free of charge.

Tim came over promptly to give us an estimate, and we set an approximate date for the work, which we firmed up about 2 weeks in advance. He set the tiles one day and did the grout work the following morning, giving us the option to seal the grout lines ourselves 2 days later. He was prompt, personable and gave us suggestions and options for other upgrades to the kitchen, which we appreciated, especially the recommendation to ground the outlets over the counter for safety. He did a beautiful job. We are delighted with Tim Felt and in love with our new backsplash.

The project went smoothly, everything was done on one day. The work area was kept clean and tidy. Since we wanted to tile the counter ourselves, Tim and his partner prepared everything for the installation of the sink once the counter was completed. They proved to be thorough and responsive to our needs.

Tim responded to my initial email query the same day. We met soon after for him to survey the situation and I was impressed by his friendly and straightforward demeanor. Despite an initial work start estimate of three weeks, they were able to fit us in the following week. Tim and Alex completed the work in three business days. The new drywall looks great, and the trim in the entrance way was very nicely done. They came in under budget and, with the help of a temporary wall around the work area, left very little mess or dust behind. Overall, I was impressed by their work and will retain their services in future remodeling projects.

I contacted Tim with what type of work I needed done on the house, and I ordered the windows through a local window dealer that he had worked with in the past. When the windows arrived, he and his co-worker Alex began work immediately, and worked for 7-10 days. They were very quick, had great attention to detail, and gave prompt and detailed responses to my (email) inquiries both before the job and during it. They were friendly guys to have around, and the work came in about 20% under what they budgeted. A great experience; I highly recommend them.

The whole process, from initial bid to final task, went very smoothly. Tim initially provided an estimate to do only the bathroom, but agreed to the expanded projects upon our request. He and Alex were professional, efficient, and tidy; but were also extremely pleasant and both had a nice eye for detail. They showed up as scheduled, finished the work as planned and were very patient with our two young children (which we appreciated greatly). Tim works on a "time and materials" basis, but is happy to provide a rough estimate for a specific job. We were very happy with the quality of the work, and feel fortunate to have found two such nice people to help turn our house into a home. (And we found them right here on Angie's List.)

I built a new bathroom in my house, but wanted help with finishing work and tile. Tim was happy to work with me on the project. We worked together well, and bounced ideas off each other. At every step he consulted me to make sure what he was doing what I wanted. He also brought high-quality tools that made the job easier. He was pleasant to work with, capable and trustworthy. Our arrangement was for time and materials, so I can't comment on his ability to make and stick to an estimate. He will work alone if you don't want to help, and he has an assistant, who I haven't met, who helps on two-person jobs. I'd recommend Tim Felt for handyman jobs, he'll let you know if he can or can't do it.
