FARWELL POOLS

They have always been reasonable and helpful. I do not have a problem recommending them for anything pool related.

Personnel were quite unfamiliar with their spa line. They were supposed to follow-up with the answer to a simple question. After more than a week passed without information, I called to inquire status. They were going to "get to it". I mentioned that I was a serious buyer and looked forward to their response. It never came. We revisited the showroom about a week later. They still didn't know product details or the status of our question. We gave up and bought the same spa from a Beloit dealer who understood the product, was responsive, and seemed to be happy for the business. We always prefer to buy locally, but will only go so far . . .

They really know what they're doing. They're very competent. The other thing that really stands out to me is that I have dealt with a number of other pool maintenance people and all the other ones did not always seem to know what they were doing. There were things they should have told me about that they didn't. Farwell always notices things. They go other way to point things out. They point out things that may need repair. They ask permission before they do them. I like that about them. I think they're very thorough. They have a great attention to detail.

Farwell did very good quality work on our pool by replacing our pool liner. However, the installer's professionalism was lacking; slow to respond, did not communicate start date (Wife asking me "when are they coming?" over and over and I had understanding of start date), and did not communicate date to finish leftover work -- I had figured Farwell was finished, so I went about completing the opening of the pool, and days later, Dan showed up, however I had completed the work of the opening (about 1.5 hours of work).

I can't say enough good things about Farwell. They have always done a fine job for me. Their online scheduling is painless. They show up when they say they are going to. Their workers are friendly and explain things well. They also seem to have mostly the same crew from year to year so they must be treating their employees well. They work efficiently. This is a very professional organization and team. Some have told me you can find cheaper services - which I am not convinced of. I am happy to pay the money and know that my pool is taken care of in the right way the first time. I highly recommend them. I am a real customer from Middleton and not a paid spokesperson!

Their prices are fine. They overlooked something and we had to redo it. I can't comment on the particulars about that because it was my husband who did it. We have always received good service from them and this time we did not. Their punctuality was fine. We will continue to use them.

It took about 5 weeks to finally get them to visit the site and give me a quote, but, once they did engage they did a great job. I should also point out that I was not able to get two other competing contractors to respond either.

The only reason I brought it up is because last time when they came it cost us a $1000 but they did not fix the problem. I have to give them high marks on responsiveness because they tried their best. There was another company who came out to fix the problem.

It went very well! It took two visits. On the first, diagnostic, visit, the man said that with the leaking pipe in question might be very hard to reach the spot of the leak, and consequently quite expensive. I said that nevertheless the pipe had to be fixed. Imagine my pleasure when I got home the day of the repair job and the men said that they had been lucky and the repair was relatively easy to reach. It was my first contracted work with Farwell after having been associated with other local pool companies, and I was impressed.
