+ -1 moreWe selected Dish because they offered the lowest price for a one-year contract. After they hooked everything up, they has us sign for the installation and package and at that point it was told to us (an yes, we realize that this was probably buried in the fine print somewhere previously) that it would be ~$25 for the first year and then ~$55 for the second ... wait, what second year? We were then told that in order to get the one-year rate, we had to be locked in for 2 years and that if we did not want to do this anymore there would be a (I don't remember the exact amount, but I think it was $200+) cancellation fee and fee to remove the equipment - yes, the equipment that was just installed. Overall, just not happy with the way things were handled. Other than that, Dish has been generally fine (complete loss of signal anytime it rains more than a sprinkle). We have come to the end of our two years and we will not be renewing and I will most likely not be using them again.
