They said that they usually don't install other products not purchased from their company, however since I was having other services completed, they would install my kitchen sink. After looking at my shower and my water softener, we choose to fully replace both, in which other employees drove here to drop off the products so that it could be installed right away. I was very impressed with the amount of time it took, quality and helpfulness. The price at the end was very reasonable as well.

We were very pleased with the job that was done. Great workmanship and quality plus done in a timely manner.

It was a project. It was getting the work done in a 2 to 2 ½ month period.

Everything was great! The old toilet had leaked a bit so he used extra wax to make sure this one wouldn't. The new pipes look very professional and he did a good job in hooking up the new sink. He also hung around to help figure out why the new toilet was leaking a little, and successfully resolved it. Overall the plumber was very knowledgeable and I would definitely use them again.

They're punctual and they give you what they tell you their going to give you.

In cleaning out my kitchen sink line, I had the sink drain break off where it connected to the old cast iron 4 inch line in my basement. As soon as it broke, I said, "Well, I can't fix that!" I called up Dave Jones on a Saturday. In talking with the emergency guy, we came to the conclusion it'd be better to wait until the regular work week so they could come out with all the right parts especially since the break was just limiting me from using the kitchen sink. They were able to come out that week and cut out a big chunk of the old cast iron drain line and replace it with PVC. They had to hook up the kitchen drain line, tub, and bathroom sink line to the new PVC. It took less time than they originally estimated and as a result they reduced my bill. The plumber they sent out was professional and knowledgeable and I will absolutely be using them in the future. Great experience.

They were fantastic. It was expensive but they stayed within budget. I thought it was too expensive but I thought the work was really well done. Very high quality. You get what you pay for.

There was no cost, it was under warranty. They are reasonable, they are responsive and qualified.

The service is terrific. They send me the same tech every time, he is knowledgeable and through he keeps great notes and the next time he comes out he checks things he makes notes about previously.

The estimate and the installation went well, I thought. Courteous, professional, clean, reasonably priced. I was happy. Then my approx. year-old furnace suddenly went out one night. We woke up on a frigid Sunday morning to a house that was 45 degrees and the furnace wouldn't kick on. We called Dave Jones, since they installed it, thinking surely whatever was wrong, it would be covered under warranty. The technician on call called us back and was very grumpy to be called out on a Sunday. I could understand, since he lived in Cedarburg and would have to drive to Madison. Turns out they aren't exactly a "local" company, like I thought---more of a regional company. So we sat in a freezing cold 90 year old house, with a baby, for 3 hours waiting for this guy to show up. Not happy campers. When he arrived he was nice enough--he basically told us he thought we must be lying when we said it was 45 in the house, just to get him to come out, but nope, we weren't lying. Then he basically said a couple wires had touched on the furnace, tripping the circuit breaker--which seems odd, given it was a new installation by Dave Jones. We were just glad, at the time, it was a quick "fix" and not a faulty furnace. It was still something like $165 for the emergency call. Not happy. Again--didn't you guys JUST install this thing? Why do I have to pay for you to fix your faulty wiring? Fast forward to this fall, we had someone else come out to do a fall check up on the furnace, since he'd done a good job installing central air for us this summer and we were unhappy with Dave Jones. Long story short--he was horrified. Carbon monoxide leaking into our basement from a cut vent pipe, rust inside the new furnace from a leaky line, and a faulty installation that had completely fried the wiring in the Aprilaire. Still waiting for a warranty replacement on that. I don't know what happened, the installation or the repair, one bad technician... but I do know a new furnace isn't supposed to cut out randomly after one year, it isn't supposed to be covered in rust, and I'm not supposed to have a completely nonfunctional, ruined $500 humidifier a couple years later. I'll avoid Dave Jones in the future.

The technician arrived early, was polite and professional, and fixed both tasks within an hour and a half. Quick, easy, reasonably priced.

We had a very dirty tankless water heater that had not been properly serviced in three years. It was having some carbon monoxide issues venting to the outside. Dave Jones Plumbing came quickly (day or two) and did all the cleaning and servicing in a quick and professional manner. The plumber was knowledgeable and even pointed out that part of our carbon monoxide problem was due to foliage preventing the proper cycling of air. Very happy with their work, responsiveness and going the extra mile to check out the situation. Reasonable price too. Would definitely come to them for future plumbing needs.

The whole appointment was quick and efficient. The service guy even gave me a do-it-yourself tip for next time to save money.

The serviceman came just after 3pm. They told me between 3 and 4pm. I told him the problem and he augered the toilet. He checked it several times during the 25-minute service call. He checked the bathroom sinks and tubs and answered all my questions. He was friendly and professional. We use Dave Jones Plumbing because they were the original installers in our home. They replaced our water heater a couple of years ago and were honest about what we needed after we inquired about different water heater types. We also had them professionally re-install the utility sink in the basement--just a small job, but they did good work. Clean and punctual servicemen. Very friendly phone staff.

I was pleased with the quality of the installation and the customer service. The technician from Dave Jones Plumbing told me up front that they were not the cheapest ($125/hr for labor sounds pretty high to me, given my electrician was $40/hr). The first visit (troubleshooting) was wasted as the technician and I spent 45+ minutes on hold with the Navien support rep determining if the leaking inside the tankless water heater was a defect covered under warranty. Once I got the warranty replacement, the install was scheduled two days later and the installation took 2 hours. The same technician did the job - very friendly guy, helped answer a lot of my questions, and cleaned up after himself. I was disappointed that I was charged a full hour for the first service call, since we literally spent 45+ minutes on hold on the phone/waiting for the Navien support rep to call us back. I called Dave Jones Plumbing customer support rep to ask for a partial refund, and my messages were not returned. I drove over to the office and explained my situation, and they issued me a partial refund via check right away, which I was satisfied with. I would go with Dave Jones Plumbing again, but note, their hourly rate for labor ($125/hr) is higher than average.

They were very quick in the next day or so. He was friendly, professional, and efficient. I would use them again and would recommend them to others.

They do quality work. They were very responsive and on time to do the contract work; I like all that about them. They were a quality company. I would use them in the future.

I don't think I'd consider them again. Poor followup.

We were experiencing some water in the basement and could not figure out where it was coming from. Contacted them and less than a week later someone came out while we were in the hospital having a baby. Took care of it and even though it was something very simple and silly, he was able to figure out our problem based on the little information we were able to give him being that we were unavailable at the hospital.

We discovered early on a Monday morning that our water heater had a small leak. My husband contacted 3 plumbing companies and Dave Jones had the best price plus was able to come out later that same morning. The repairman arrived on time and did a good job taking out the old heater and installing the new one.

Overall it was ok. Price was high for the amount of work considering it did take them a while to get here.

I didn't have them do it but they were very cooperative. I was dealing with a problem that another company caused and, for money reasons, I had to let them finish. My experience with them so far has been good. I will use them again in the future.
