12 November 2019 When Dan says 8AM, he means it ... and he arrived on time despite the frigid 5 degree temperature today. He quickly assessed the main problem as being one of signal transmitting and repaired it efficiently. He determined the garage door Remote was not defective, nor did it have a bad battery (I had replaced it the day before!) but rather, the connections had gotten bent and weren't in contact with the battery. Instant repair! Dan also lubricated the moving parts of the garage door. By the time he left, in less than 15 minutes, the overhead door and the Remote were fully functional. It is pleasant to find skilled service people. A happy day in my neighborhood! Good news always travels fast.

After about 3 weeks on order and another week to get mutually scheduled, the installation went very smooth in less than one day as originally quoted. Door is nice and so is having natural light in the garage.

This is one of those really precarious things because he is so good I hate to have people use him because then he'll be unavailable. I believe it's just Dan that does his own work. He takes extreme pride in his work. He is prompt. He is efficient. He is courteous. In fact he's one of the very few service people that I have ever written a thank you note too after because you just don't see that in this day and age.

Needed a large 18' by 7' door replaced. Dan was prompt in coming out to look at the door. Explained what door he recommended, how much it would cost, how long it would take to order, and how long it would take to install. He made some temporary fixes to make the broken door safe and operable while waiting for the new door. At installation he did everything as previously agreed upon. He even made repairs to my opener that we hadn't discussed for no additional cost. Highly recommended!!

I was very happy with the quickness and efficiency of both repairs. My garage door required reinforcement and it now moves much more smoothly than it did before.

Jenko was prompt and completed the work quickly. Garage door has been working great since. The main repair was replacing broken torsion springs. Dave clearly explained what he did to my wife.

One of the 2 cables broke on 7/4, and I opted to wait till Monday to avoid the $$$ emergency charge. Called 3 garage door companies (all 3 are popular on Angie's List), and he was the one who can come the quickest and charge the lowest. One of the other 2 will charge double the amount, and the other one will charge 30% more. Dan was prompt and professional, he offered some advices on how to maintain the door and got the cable job done in less than 30mins. I'll use him again if I need any garage door work next time.

They replaced our ten year old garage door opener that was acting "strangely", opening and closing on it's own, etc. They were punctional, friendly and fast.

I called about having this company come out and look at our garage door, which needs to be either repaired or replaced. They said that they didn't want to do anything with a door that California Doors originally installed and that they didn't do new sales or installations any more. I found the phone call to be rather odd.

After a misfire in attempting to hire Bob Schmitz for this, I started looking for another provider. Jenko (sorry I can't remember the repairman's name) worked out fine, the repairman was polite, able to schedule me in around a week, and showed me how to use the new unit. They would have been able to repair it even sooner except it required a new unit and sensors.

I returned from vacation to find that the spring on my garage door had broken. I logged in to Angie's List, and was greeted with a video on the dangers of DIY garage door repairs (How did they know?). I decided that the risks were not worth saving some money. I read the reviews of local companies, and decided to go with Jenko, based on glowing reviews. I called on Monday, but was on my way to work, and asked about Tuesday morning availability. They said they'd be here Tuesday morning, and they were. Dan is the nicest service guy I've ever dealt with, and he was quick in doing the repair. It is hard to fathom having a response of "Shazam!" when I was already prepared for greatness, having read the glowing reviews, but I was truly thrilled with the service and the price. The part is warrantied for 1 year. I think I read a review of another company that offered a longer warranty, but I think their prices looked a bit higher. An "A+" would have been in order, but apparently "A" is as high a mark as I'm allowed to give.

We called the company to get information on repair or replacement of the opener. Dan came to the house in an hour, checked over the unit and determined it could be repaired. He was able to perform the work immediately, which included lubing tracks and hinges and adjusting the springs. Also, we never had a working receiver and remotes for the opener. Dan was able to take care of that for us during this repair. Work was done professionally and efficiently and we would not hesitate to use them again.

We called Jenko and asked for Dan after reading other reviews on Angies List. On the phone, Dan made an appointment to come out exactly when we needed him and promised he'd try his best to make us happy. He arrived right on time, diagnosed the problems, completed the repairs and performed routine maintenance right on the spot. He was very friendly, professional, efficient, and utterly competent. It's been a month since the work was done and doors have worked perfectly. We were more than satisfied; we were thrilled to have such a positive experience with a service professional. Could not have gone better.
