+ -1 moreI am a physical therapist. I first evaluated the Curves equipment for a patient 3 years ago. I was so impressed that I joined the next week. The equipment is specifically sized for women. It is operated on hydraulics, so there is a very small chance of getting hurt. The clubs are no-frills, and you can be in and out in 30-45 minutes. This is critical for women with busy schedules.
Description of Work: I have been a Curves member for about 3 years. I have been a member of this club since it opened over 2 years ago. The club is well-maintained, with lots of plants, and friendly staff and members. When Jamie trains you for the equipment, she knows her stuff and makes sure that you learn it, too. Be sure to say hi to Atticus, canine-ambassador extroadinaire. I use a travel pass to work out a Curves when I visit my mom or kids.
