Numerous exceptionally unprofessional email exchanges were documented with Sally. She also doesn't complete any tasks you assign to her. For example, a small amendment to our HOA rules was needed. The board met and voted the amendment in. Over the course of 6 months, Sally failed to complete the update of just a few words in the rules. Then, in November Sally informed us she would be returning to her roots of just offering Bookkeeping services (no longer providing property management services) effective 1/1. Shortly after that, she completely stopped providing contractually agreed upon services even though she was still being paid to be our property manager thru 12/31. We have secured a new property manager/bookkeeper effective 1/1, and in the transition process, Sally decided to take money out of our Association bank account to pay herself without even providing an invoice to the Board to review/approve payment first. Had an invoice been submitted to the Board BEFORE payment just being taken, I wouldn't be so perturbed. I would STRONGLY suggest finding someone else for your Bookkeeping services unless you would like to work with someone who will withdraw money from your bank account whenever she likes for her personal benefit, with no prior authorization. Very unethical and disappointing.

Sally Balsom was extremely snotty to me accusing me of not following condo rules, for one thing. I've only been in this association for 2 months, have paid my dues, complied completely with rules. I disagreed with the association taking our recycle bin as did others in the association and she went off on a very snotty tirade telling me she would not answer any of my emails. At this point, I will just refer her emails to my attorney and see how things go from here. Not good.

Sally was reliable and very helpful.

I hired Sally in July of 2012 to preform our bookkeeping services on a weekly basis. She comes Friday mornings at 9 am, enters the information in Quickbooks in the proper accounts. She is very pleasant and trustworthy. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a bookkeeping service.
