Bouril Design Studio

Happy with the final product - as just getting something correct and on paper - was a relief from the clueless design/build person I had previously used.   There were a few things his employee / intern didn't catch (such as wall oven location being un-viable in a 30 inch space) but they were corrected by Bob after i pointed them out thanks to a Home Depot kitchen designer (Carol) catching that as she was giving a quote for the final design.   My deck contractor added another platform near the hot tub so I wouldn't have to reach through the cable rail to clip and un-clip the hot tub cover on and off every time I wanted to go into it.   Bob came up with some interesting ideas to loft the LR and porch ceilings - though I don't plan to use those designs due to the cost involved.  I was able to get a full redesign plan that could be bid upon by any contractor  so I could have an apples to apples comparison.   Bob was kind enough to give me sources for a number of the accouterments associated with the re-design - with 80% of them being on the final detailed plan and 20% of them being off the plan - pending my selection. 

Bob Bouril was a creative and sophisticated architect, using most current technology and knowledge of design and construction techniques. We had a complex site, as it was narrow, with sloping grade down to the water, and high water table. Bob was able to design all the features we wanted, in a very beautiful, functional and creative way.
We would gladly recommend Bob to others.

Project is not yet completed but so far very nice.
