It went great! Our inspector Matthew was very knowledgeable and thorough!

After two bad experiences with home inspections, I was reluctant to hire another one. Matt has completely restored my belief in the value and importance of hiring a qualified inspector. He was professional from beginning to end. It was obvious that he was very experienced, uncovering several issues with the house we are buying, and having an educated estimate at the cost and hassle factor of repairing work that needs to be done. I had a long list of questions that he addressed with patience and knowledge. I would highly recommend Matt if you’re looking for an experienced, professional inspector that clearly communicates all aspects of the inspection process.

It went well. Matt was on time and did a thorough inspection. He took time to answer questions and we had a printable report with pictures emailed to us the same day as the inspection. We actually hired Matt for two inspections as the first inspection revealed defects too expensive for us to afford.

Matt came on time and spent approximately two hours walking me through his inspection. He confirmed much of what I had previously identified as issues, found a significant number of smaller concerns that I had not noted, and pointed out some of my observations that weren't as serious as I thought they might be. He also found two major issues that I will need to deal with once I get into the house. He took the time to educate me on both issues so that I, now, have a solid idea about how to proceed. Matt proved to extremely knowledgeable and very willing to take the time to share his knowledge and experience with me. For me, that aspect of his service was extremely valuable and much appreciated.

Really well! Matt was very detailed and gave us a good sense of the issues with the property. He was able to get out to the property within a day and sent a report within a few days after the inspection. We were buying from out of state, so he allowed a friend of ours who lives locally to walk through with him during the inspection and was really friendly about it.

He was thorough about everything. He found some issues and explained in detail what it was, the reason for it, and the approximate cost to fix it. He was knowledgeable about his profession and passionate about doing the best job possible. I would definitely hire him again. A+

I knew I was in good hands when Matt told me that he liked working with first time house buyers because they ask more questions. That showed in the inspection. Matt answered every question we had, gave good advice about maintenance and upkeep for our new house, and taught us things I wouldn't have expected to learn. Matt was thorough, professional, polite and passionate. He explained things we knew nothing about in a way that we could understand. I can tell Matt loves his job. He made what could have been a stressful situation informative and fun. He also sent our inspection paperwork with photos an hour after the service. Plus, I was looking for an inspector and called Matt on a Sunday. I expected only to leave a message and receive a call back the following day. He actually got right back to me and we scheduled an appointment for later in the week. I consider this short notice, due to the high volume of inspections happening now. Matt went above and beyond from start to finish. We had a major problem when our scheduled home inspector got into an accident on the day of the inspection and was unable to do the job. I called Badger Home Inspections and Matt made sure he fit me in the very next day! At the home, Matt did an amazing job to ensure the job was done thoroughly and correctly. He was very knowledgeable about home structure and the "bones" of the house, and refreshingly honest regarding what he wasn't an expert on. There was an elaborate geothermal system in the home and he was honest right from the start that he wouldn't be able to give me information on it. He tested every outlet, faucet, appliance, railing, door, light switch, utility, step and window (and I'm sure much more). He went over the report with me at the house and answered all my questions effectively. Furthermore, he emailed the report to me within HOURS of completion. Matt is extremely professional, efficient and well-versed in his occupation. I would highly recommend him to provide this service.

I am so glad we decided to have an inspection! Matt was extremely professional! He walked though every inch of the property and answered every question and/or concern I had.
