Punctual, professional, and sensitive to my needs: I told him I was concerned about indoor air quality and chemical off-gassing so he mentioned several helpful points related to this during the inspection (which I followed him around for). His report was very helpful in our house buying decision-making process.

When our Realtor suggested Jon for the home inspection and I contacted him for the first time, he was professional and courteous. Jon explained exactly what the inspection would entail and what the exact costs were. He was very flexible for scheduling knowing our deadline for our offer. Jon showed up early on a cold April morning to get the majority of the outside inspection. He was very detailed and explained any issues about the house that my husband and I needed to know. What I really liked was the report we received 2 hours after completing the inspection. It was detailed and had digital pictures with arrows showing exactly the problems and Jon also explained why they needed to be fixed. We would hire him again.

We received a 36 page detailed report with pictures in less than 24 hours. Very prompt and thorough inspection. Took time to answer our questions as he looked the house, garage and property over. Made suggestions about checking further into issues that needed an expert to give us a total picture of possible problems. Great experience and was very impressed by the experience and Jon.

I arrived a few minutes early for our appointment and found Jon already taking a look around the exterior of the house. My first impression was pleasant and professional. Jon was very courteous throughout the process, returning items to original condition prior to inspection. Also, I felt he was very thorough and efficient as we combed through the house in detail. Overall, I doubt I could've found a better service. I love that the report was available online a few hours after the inspection, complete with pictures of the defects found, and labeled for easy identification. Thank you, Jon! Two thumbs up!

Jon performed a very detailed and thorough inspection (lasting 3-4 hours and I'm sure a few more hours at home gathering everything together) of a 1950's home that had many issues. His attention to detail is just what one hopes for in an inspection and his final report includes voluminous easy to read and understand photos with arrows and descriptions of every possible issue a home buyer would want to know about. Between his website and the various written materials also he hands out, there is no wanting for information as to how to proceed with any issue that came up. He also arrived early to set himself up and clearly did some research on the home before hand. There is nothing lacking about Jon?s inspection or his reporting. If I could give him an ?A+? I would!

Jon was very professional and prompt in his responses over the phone. He provided a quote that was very reasonable out of the 4 companies that we called. He set up the radon test day days before our home inspection so that we could have the results during the home inspection. He was very punctual and showed up before we did for the inspection. Even though it was a new house, he spent a lot of time going through the details and had some good recommendations. His reports were also generated the same night. I would use him in the future and highly recommend him.

I read all of the reviews on Angie's List, and he sounded like a very knowledgeable person. That's why I called him. My realtor recommended another guy, but I went with this company. His inspection was very detailed. He really identified the issues. His work ethic was excellent. He made sure that things were put back in the right places. Their rates are very competitive. The quality of his work was great. I called him after the job a few times, and he would return my calls immediately. He was five minutes early to the job.

He was punctual, thorough and detailed. He was also very helpful in that he explained what he was doing along the way and went into detail on any issues tht he found. He walked the entire house including the attic and crawl space as well as the property itself and the detached garage. He was also easily available on the phone for several follow up questions and recommended the name of some specialists to come in and do a deeper examination of some of the issues that he found (eg. mold). He got us the written report within 24 hours which was fantastic. I would absolutely recommend Jon for home inspections.

Excellent. John was very through and knowledgable. He explained things as we went through the house. He took careful pictures and notes, which he later incorporated into his report. I was able to use his report for remediation before the house closing. I would highly recommend John. I felt the price was fair and worth the money for a 1500 sq. ft. home.

Jon was extremely professional and responsive to all of our questions and concerns throughout the entire home inspection. In addition, the home inspection report was excellent. It included nearly everything we talked about and pictures corresponding to the dialogue, with arrows and red boxes around the areas of convern. I would recommend him to anyone!

Jon was fantastic. We were able to schedule the inspection within a few days of calling him. He arrived on time and spent nearly 4 hours with us on the property. His inspection was meticulous, careful and thorough. He pointed out many things that we would never have noticed, and also told us what the most critical issues were to fix immediately, what to watch over time, etc. He sent us an extremely detailed report, with photos, that evening. I plan to put my house on the market later this year. I decided to have it inspected in order to find out the actual condition. I wanted to get this information so I could repair or disclose any defects to a potential buyer, and also to set an appropriate price. I chose this inspector based on several factors, including the reviews on Angie's List. The inspection was exactly what I wanted. It was very thorough, and the report included a lot of very helpful photos. Jon has a very professional manner, and took the time to explain what he was doing, and to answer all my questions. He was willing to work on a Sunday, which was the only time I could be home all day. I was completely unaware of hail damage to my roof until Jon pointed it out,and suggested calling my insurance company. A claims adjuster came to look, and authorized a total roof replacement. So, my $315.00 inspection has more than paid for itself! I am glad I hired Jon, and would certainly recommend Accredited Home Inspection Services.

I am really impressed with Jon's willingness to recommend someone else who is more likely to be helpful to us. If we ever do need a home inspection, he will be the first person I call!

I drive my wife nuts with how much I research things before I buy. But the user reviews and BBB grade for the big inspection company my realtor recommended did not make me comfortable. So, I found Jon's business online, ran it through the internet ringer and it came out clean. So I had high expectations. Jon met and exceeded all of them. He was punctual, detailed and deliberate, and incredibly knowledgeable. He has a professional and friendly demeanor and was willing to answer all of my questions (which were MANY). His final report was clear and very detailed. Simply put, Jon inspected the heck out of that house and I now know all its warts, big and small. If you're looking for a home inspector, make life easy on yourself and hire Jon.

Jon was punctual, professional, friendly, and gave us a great price. Our realtor estimated that our inspection would cost $400 on a 675-square foot condo - Jon cost $285. The report he provided was very thorough and easy to understand.

Jon was thorough during the inspection, listened to and answered all of my questions/concerns along the way, and provided a very detailed report the same evening. The report included notes and pictures and was supplied via secure online access. The system allowed us to easily forward the report to any interested parties such as our realtor, contractors, etc. We've only had one other experience with the home inspection process but I wanted to note that our experience with Jon was by far superior.

I was very impressed. He spent 3 1/2 hours there (I watched for 2) and was very thorough. His report was excellent. Although much of the content is boilerplate, he had comments in each section so you can be sure he covered all aspects of a good inspection. He took pictures of everything including a dozen small signs of water intrusion. Since there's no way to know if the rust/lime spots are 30 years or 1 week old, it's good to have the pictures for future reference to see if the spots change. He was a little too conerned about the older electrical panel - trusted electricians didn't see any safety issues. But I'm glad he erred on the side of caution. His fee seemed to be on the low side for the service.

We couldn't have expected better. Jon lives up to the reviews that he has received here. He was extremely thorough (that's saying a lot coming from us) and was always ready with advice on what to do when he found a problem. I took notes through the inspection (as a backup), and was impressed to find that his summary document captured every deficiency that I had noted. I have no reservations recommending his services to others.

John arrived early, and was completely professional throughout the entire inspection. He had estimated it would take 3 to 3 and a half hours, but it took over 4. John never wavered and was patient with all of our questions. He was completely thorough, and did a great job. He was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the structure of and mechanicals in the house. He e-mailed a full report to us that afternoon, complete with color photos. Very impressive. My only reservation about recommending him(and it is a small one)is that I wish John had been more forthcoming with suggestions about how to proceed after the inspection. We would have liked to know how serious the issues were, and what we should do to resolve them. I think that John does not see that as his function, and maybe he is correct.

John was very thorough, and took note of many details. It is a ten year old house, so there were not many big issues, but he pointed out a few things to watch over time or to possibly fix in the future. He took time to get up on the roof and inspect it carefully, noting some concerns. We appreciated that he took time to show us how some things in the house operate, like the gas fireplace and the jet tub. He left us with a home owners guide for future reference on the major systems in the house. His report was detailed and included photos, which is a helpful reference. I would recommend him for any inspection, but particularly if you are a first-time home buyer or have several questions about the condition of the property you might be purchasing.
