I had contacted Aaron Dwyer at AD Roofing 2 years ago and received a bid for the job in a very timely manner. For various reasons, we put off having the roof replaced at that time. When I contacted Aaron this year, I was impressed to learn that he still had our information and he came out within a few days to reassess the roof. His bid was stable and though slightly more than another bid, we went with AD because of his professionalism and the fact that he was very good at returning phone calls. After a slight rain delay (no problem) the AD crew was here promptly on the agreed date and proceeded with their business like little worker ants. It was a 2 day job and after each day, the clean up crew was excellent. Tearing off a roof gets quite messy. Our neighbors were impressed. We have a lot of plantings around the house and the workers seem to take care in not disturbing them as well as they could. Also, the roofers noted a small area of rotting wood and replaced it at no additional charge. We were very pleased with the crew at AD Roofing. Aaron seems to have a well run organization. We would highly recommend them.

They were very good and on time. They named a date and were quick to provide service in a busy season. Erin, the owner/manager, was very professional and good to work with. He was able to articulate roofing terminology easily. The price of $10,000 noted in this report is approximate.

After the very heavy February 6th snowfall, I called AD roofing the next day to be proactive with snow removal, because I was very happy with their initial December help. My call was returned right away and they were out the next day. I did not need ice melter this time. I also received a thank you note.

They did an excellent job! The crew showed up at the agreed upon time and date. We were impressed with how hard-working and friendly the crew members were. They had a good sized crew and said it would take only two days to complete. They did not have to place a dumpster on site, but removed and hauled away the old roofing with their own truck. They protected the windows and plants when removing the old shingles. Both days they did a great job of cleaning up after themselves. They cleaned out all of gutters when they finished and I was pleased that I did not find even one roofing nail or pieces of shingles lying around the house. While I am not an expert, I have had a bad experience in the past with a roofer. This time there was none of that. The work appears to be of excellent quality and we are very happy with the results. Aaron Dwyer, the owner, followed up with us afterwards and assured us that they would stand behind their work. Thanks for the great job!

I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone. They did a very thorough daily clean-up.

Responsive, came when they said they would. The price was as quoted. Returned phone calls promptly.

They installed new roof but 60-70 nail's were visible in exposed part of shingles! They came to fit it. I then bought roofing cement and sealed the 25 exposed nail's they did not fix. I had picked them from the Award List.

I made an appointment to meet with Mr. Dwyer for the estimate, and I totally screwed up and missed the appointment. He subsequently left me a voice message explaining that he would mail me the estimate, and to call him if I had questions, etc. I received the estimate in the mail very soon thereafter. It is entirely possible that I may have gone with this company, had I not missed the appointment.

From the initial call for a quote, Aaron was always very responsive. We had a quote within a couple of days for the work. Even when I had a question about the quote, Aaron returned my call while he was on vacation with his family. Aaron and his crew were very professional and completed our job in 1 1/2 days. They did a wonderful job of cleaning up the mess during and afterwards and we never had a dumpster in our yard. They even installed an extra vent for our bathroom fan along with throwing in the re-roofing of our shed at no extra cost. We also wanted some additional siding work done on our garage that Aaron no longer does, but he referred us to someone who did a wonderful job residing our garage and aluminum wrapping the soffits and trim. My Mother had Aaron replace her roof and gutters and had the same wonderful experience. Even our neighbors commented on their great job.

I can't say enough good about this company. Mr. Dwyer was always professional, honest, courteous, communicative, and kept his word. His roofing quote was even the lowest of any we had received. His crew was very hard working, polite, cleaned up very well. My car was on the driveway by the dumpster the day of install and I had to leave to pick up my daughter and one of the workmen rolled around the nail pickup before he would let me drive away. How utterly thoughtful. We were concerned that since the only place the dumpster could be placed was in front of our garage door (hence on driveway) we would for sure get a flat tire in one of our cars but we did not. Our roof looks gorgeous! I wish it was more visible from the street so everyone could see it!

After receiving multiple estimates, we chose AD based on both price and reputation. They changed the original date to begin work by 2-3 weeks. Aaron wanted to make emergency repairs to homes which suffered damage in recent rain storms. This was not a problem since our roof was not leaking. On the day the crew arrived, it was shocking to see 8-10 men on the roof at one time. The entire job was finished in just 2 days. They protected my plants around the house successfully. Around the garage they were careless and I lost a couple of shrubs. They were very professional and respectful and were on time. They did a good job of picking up nails, roofing materials and we found very few cigarette butts when they left as well. We were disappointed there was a miscommunication between Aaron and the site foreman and the old flashing was not removed. Instead, they painted over it. Upon our inspection and discussion with Brian, it was corrected the next day. We have the best looking roof around!

Aaron was prompt with his proposal, returned phone calls in a timely manner and his crew showed up at the appointed time after we agreed on a date for the work. They took care not to damage plantings. They did a very good job on the cleanup, considering the huge mess when tearing off the old roof. After picking up all the debris, they went over the entire area with a magnetic roller to pick up hidden nails and staples. It was quite a sight; fifteen young men on our roof ripping it up. They worked quickly and well. They were courteous and respectful. We are very pleased with their work.

He was accessible, reasonable, and reasonably priced. The roof hasn't leaked!

They were fast and they did a good job.

They were very prompt. The guy who gave me the quote was right on time and as soon as it stopped raining they did the roof with no mess. The guy that gave me the quote set an appointment and was right on time. I think that is important that they respect your time.

Very well - I will certainly have AD bid on any major roofing job in the future and will use them for repairs as needed.

All of my neighbors seem to be having complete new roofs put on and the houses are only 10 years old. The guy doing all of the work on the street was pretty smooth. He came by and told me I had "moderate to heavy" hail damage and needed a whole new roof. I chose AD Roofing for a second opinion due to their good reports on Angie's List. Aaron was on time, polite and professional. I was also impressed with his professionalism in light of dealing with what I've found out is called a "storm chaser" company in their industry (roofers that target heavy storm-hit areas and work the insurance companies pretty hard). Aaron found "light to maybe some moderate" hail damage, but certainly not enough for a new roof! My insurance adjuster agreed with him. While I didn't need to use a roofer now, I will use AD Roofing next time I have any roof issues!

THEY WORKED VERY QUICKLY. CLEANED UP VERY WELL AFTER THEMSELVES. THEY PRICE A BIT MORE THAN OTHER COMPANIES, BUT WITH THE QUALITY, AMOUNT, AND TIME FRAME WORK WAS COMPLETED. IT WAS VERY MUCH WORTH IT. I WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE AGAIN. ALL AROUND EXCELLENT JOB

Aaron changed the appointment twice. On the day of appointment, he called me in the morning and ask to change it again. His price is OK. I just don't like to be moved around with other people's schedule.

Aaron preferred not to meet with me, but instead inspected the job site himself. He mailed an estimate in a timely fashion. The estimate would become a contract upon signing and dating it, so the job to be performed was numerically itemized in detail. Items one and two were to remove the old gutter system and install aprons. Item three was for the installation of new gutters and downspouts. Here's how it's worded: "3. If needed new 5 inch seamless aluminum gutters and 4 inch down spouts will be installed. The customer will have a wide variety of colors to choose from." No where else in the estimate/contract is it specified the number and location of gutters and downspouts. Obviously I had questions. Does this mean gutters other than 5 inch may be needed? Or does it mean some gutters may not be needed? And who decides? When I called Aaron, he found this hysterically funny and offered to correct it. He doesn't install steel downspouts, which was the deal breaker.

First rate. I asked for a quote to replace the entire flat roof section with neoprene. The quote arrived in a timely fashion, but I did not know that the roofer who diagnosed the problem and did the measuring for the quote also did the repair on the existing composition roofing. They arrived when they said they would, they did more than I expected. First rate, first rate, first rate. When I decide to "neoprene" that section of roof, I won't bother to shop it around. These are my "guys" for roofing.

Aaron promptly came out and within 2 days offered an acceptable estimate. He and his crew returned about 6 weeks later and we had our new roof completed, with tear off of the old roof in a day and a half. At one point I counted 10 guys up on our roof removing shingles! They cleaned up their mess and there were not a bunch of roofing nails all over the place.

They did great work and he was a nice guy to work with, but not particularly timely. He asked me if he could delay me and it was fine because I wasn't in a big rush. I wasn't dissatisfied, but he did delay me a couple of weeks.

Solicited bids. Chose AD Roofing based upon Angie's List rating. They performed temporary repair work (free) expecting to perform project in spring. Weather was mild in December; they called to ask if we were ready. Crew arrived on a Friday and finished up at noon on Saturday. Paid the bill; all is well.

Work crew was on time and worked fast. All work was done to my satisfaction. Workers were very polite and courteous. I was very happy with the appearance of the roof, gutters and downspouts upon completion. I had some requests regarding the placement and length of downspouts in certain areas. I forgot to discuss this prior to the start of the job and remembered after seeing the back of the house near completion. The man cutting and installing these had a great attitude and made my desires come true. He had to reinstall a couple of downspouts. I offered to pay extra to get it done the way I wanted. He refused any extra payment and replied that he wanted an absolutely happy customer! How refreshing! Aaron stopped by as the job was nearing completion and personally inspected the work. He directed workers on extra clean up, even beyond my expectations. I would contract with Aaron again without hesitation.
