Mac’s was AMAZING! Josh, Shane, and Hunter were friendly, professional, courteous, clear, concise, clean, funny, efficient, and made a very emotional milestone move in our lives stress free. Mac’s moved my mom from a 3-bedroom home in IL to smaller townhome in retirement community in WI. We lost my dad beginning of September 2022, and mom made a difficult decision to sell our childhood home and stay the course they’d had to move to WI to be closer to my wife & me. Mac’s took the wheel and before we blinked day was over and mom was in her new home. We will be forever grateful for brilliant skills from estimation, packing, breaking down adjustable beds and setting up, and even helping mom decide on where some bigger sentimental pieces might fit in her new downsized home.

I ordered a dumpster for drop off at my home, and they could bring it as soon as the next day! The driver, Clay, was courteous and maneuvered his truck like it was a bicycle. Easy peasy. Thank you for keeping everything so simple.

My family and I got various quotes from different moving companies and decided on Macs as it is a family owned business. Macs was very professional and gave an outstanding service from start to finish. We moved from IL to SC and Macs got to our house when they said they would. They were very communicative and the crew are absolute BEASTS! Kurt the owner went above and beyond in moving the heaviest foam mattress for us. Sorry Kurt! But he also took care of and addressed any issues/concerns we had with the utmost immediate attention. We would definitely use Macs again and are only going to recommend them to all my friends and family doing a cross country move. 5 stars isn't enough for what Kurt and Mac's Moving and Storage did for us! Kurt turned what was a huge nightmare into peace of mind! We had to foreclose on a Land Contract and evict our tenant, who turned out to be a hoarder!! Kurt and his guys busted their butts to fill and move 10 x 19 foot storage pods and 4 x 30 yard dumpsters of junk out of our property, a 6 bedroom house and 10,000 sq. ft. barn!! They did it in the time promised, and came in quite a bit under what was quoted. I was very concerned how much work was going to be left after they were done, and he assured me we could clean up with a few large trash bags, and he was right! We were able to clean the remaining ourselves in a few days and got the home listed for sale within a week. Thank you Kurt!! You were true to your word and and an excellent businessman and a pleasure to work with!

It went fine. They were hired for a pick up and delivery to another home location within our state. They showed up on time, worked quickly and efficiently and delivered without any damage. were professional and courteous!

I don't even know where to start with this young man and his family. I initially contacted Kurt when I was looking for movers in Lake Geneva to back my Penske van I rented for my move to TX. My nephew was going to drive my car and a load in the car. I had spent weeks negotiating with all the different companies. Including full service moving companies. I had what I considered the best prices I was going to get. So when speaking with Kurt he asked a few questions. Very polite at all times. His wife does Budget rental plus they have a storage facility as well as the moving company. They both called back about an hour later and we had a 3 way phone call. Turns out they were cheaper than doing it myself including loading and unloading. Ok so not so remarkable so far right; well this is where it gets interesting. I am disabled. Been off work for 7 months due to an injury. Just got back to work and had a severe reaction to something at a hotel. Ended up in the hospital for 2 days and a night. Flat on my back for 5 days after that. Then started packing again. Still not feeling well. Had to go to Urgent Care. Many days at the different doctors. So not everything was packed. I literally had a break down. I suffer from PTSD. Kurt and his team came on time. Kurt took one look at me and knew I needed the help. He and his 2 helpers couldn't have been nicer. They helped me get the stuff taken care off. It turned out to be much more than he thought with he came for the walk through prior to signing a contract. It took a great deal of time to load. When the day came for us both to leave for TX, again due to health I was unable to start out when I had planned to. They arrived in TX prior to me. They showed up at the home I am staying in to drop a few things off, then headed to the storage area. Well Kurt shouldn't play poker. His face said it all. The space I rented wouldn't have fit my stuff. So I got another one. I wish I could show you the picture of the unit. Not one inch was spared! It was full to the door! His price was fair, consistent with what we had agreed on. Prices of boxes added on and he bought back ones I didn't use. There was so much more but this gives you the idea how this company goes above and beyond!!! I cannot stress to you enough. They are safe, honest group of people. They made the difference of me being able to cope with the move, especially once in Houston. That drive was hard, no sleep and not feeling well. Thank you Kurt and company!

My in-laws were moving from a 3 level lake home where everything involves stairs. Kurt stopped out first to make sure we had an accurate quote and held the date for us while we made our decision. They were always up beat and friendly even when they had to be sick of going up and down the stairs. Besides boxes, they also moved a piano and a heavy safe. They were very creative in getting the safe up all of the stairs, using boards laid on the stairs to create rails. Overall, everything got where it needed to be and was in good shape. I would reccomend them and use them again myself.

There have been many problems we have been trying to work through with Kurt, who is unwilling to accept responsibility. Just merely seeing how they moved the items in to the apartment, I dread what I will no doubt continue to find damaged possessions. A deep scratch on a leather chair and an expensive coffee machine that was packed with the water in it are the main items which we have found. The coffee machine, of course does not work, even worse he blames my parents who were there during the move out of the apartment. So far, contact with Kurt via email yields lots of different excuses and blaming us. I have been through many moves bigger than this that have gone much smoother. Can't recommend this company.

Kurt provided an estimate in advance and followed up prior to the move to get building details and confirm the schedule. The crew arrived on time, were very organized, and things moved quickly. It took less than three hours to load. The crew worked well as a team and were very professional. They arrived promptly in Lake Geneva and unloaded quickly without incident. The crew was friendly and great to work with, even when I had them move a couple things twice:) The final bill was what I was quoted! I've moved many times and Kurt and his team are right up at the top of my list! Give them a try!

Team was very professional. Truck was clean. All furniture was wrapped and handled with the utmost care. Everything went very smoothly. They even helped us organize and plan out the storage facility area to make best use of the space.

It was amazing. Saved me a ton of money and was able to get my new furniture a week early!!!!

I own a small furniture shop in Lake Geneva WI. Macs Moving does all of my deliveries. They are extreamly professional. They take great care in wraping each piece of furniture in furniture blankets. They use the very best moving equipment. They always have a power tool kit for disassembly and reassembly of items if needed. This company is fast and very affordable. I can't say enough good things about them. I've never had a bad experience.

No complaints whatsoever. They arrived on time uniformed and very courteous and polite. They worked up quite a sweat but never complained. It started pouring half way through unloading into my new apartment and they made sure to not make a mess of the carpet. I would highly recommend them. I didn't have any experience with their storage, but I'm sure they're easy to work with.
