Horribly....see above. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!
Description of Work: This company was hired by my neighbor to remove a tree on his property. Instead, they dropped the giant tree right on our garage. Instead of EZ Top paying for it, WE have to because they have no insurance. THEY HAVE NO INSURANCE!! Their insurance records are falsified!! If you do a search online, you should be able to see that we are in the process of suing them. Actually, it's our insurance company that is suing them to try and get our money back. The replacement garage was over $12000 AND we had to pay $1000 deductible for having absolutely NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS!!

EZ Top gave us an estimate that we agreed to. They started cutting it down August 15, 2015 and we gave them half of the money. They told us they would be back in a week or two because they had to finish up another job. When they didn't return, I started making calls. They finally came back in the beginning of October and cut more of it. The next time they said they would be back was the beginning of November. I waited until after the holidays before I started calling again. EZ Top came back in the beginning of January. This time they had someone else climb and cut the tree. When they were done, a 2 story trunk was left along with A LOT of branches and debris in the yard. They said they needed to pay the guy who cut the tree. So, going against my better judgement, I gave them the rest of the money. They promised they would return that week to finish cutting the trunk. The stump was suppose to be ground in the spring. Needless to say, that didn't return to finish the job.
Description of Work: We had a big ash tree that needed to be cut down.

First day (Tuesday 9/15) Carl Matz , Kathee Haraway and another worker showed up and removed several large branches on 1 tree and removed brush (5 hrs) Next day (Wednesday) didn't show up! No call. Following day (Thursday) showed up and stood and watched power company take down one of the trees that was close to the power lines down below the hazard area. (No charge by power company). Removed remaining 15 feet of trunk worked for 3 hours, Removed 1 load of brush. We asked if they would return the next day (Friday) because there was a chance of rain, we were told that if it didn't rain they would be back to work during the non-raining time. (Rained overnight) No Show, No Call. Week 2, Monday showed up at 830, I asked why they weren't here on Friday and was told by Kathy the trees were wet she was reminded that she told us they would be back as long as it wasn't raining. They proceeded to cut 2 remaing large branches after power company came and disconnected service drop to the house. Cut and dropped the remaing trunk (40 ft) cut into approximately 6-8 ft pieces and left it on the front lawn. A leaf blower was used to blow all sawdust into the street at the end of the driveway and was left there for us to clean up. One small load of brush was taken when they left before noon and didn't return. Originally they were supposed to work on the one remaining tree in the back yard after dropping the tree with the service drop issue, but permission from the neighbor needed to be obtained before I would allow them to drop the tree trunk into the neighbors yard due to clearance with the location next to our house. (fence boards needed to be removed also). No topping or trimming was even attempted on this tree before they left. Thursday 9/22 Contacted Carl via text message and advised him that I received permission from the neighbor to utilize their yard and remove the fence panels as requested. No response. 11 am they showed up and began working on the last tree. ( I was at work) While working tools were being thrown in the yard and Carl was obviously mad. Tree was taken down in dropped in my back yard in one large 30 ft section and a several smaller ones leaving a 4 ft trunk 32 inches in diameter at the base remaining. Brush was hauled away and remainder was left. 4:30 Kathee came to the door and requested final payment. My wife told here that payment would be made when work was finished.(3 of 4 stumps ground down). Kathee returned and stated that Carl said that wasn't part of the price and they weren't leaving until payment was made. My wife and Kathee talked about an alternative and came to a written agreement that they would return in 2 weeks to remove the 3 stumps. October 08, 2015 date that was agreed to finish. NO SHOW! NO CALL ! BE AWARE, THEY WILL NOT RETURN TO FINISH THE JOB!

Six trees were cut and removed. Payment, plus a tip, was made in full, with the promise they would return soon and grind the three stumps. They never returned, even though I placed numerous phone calls. I finally paid another party $125 to remove the stumps.
Description of Work: Cut and removed 6 trees. Three stumps to be stump ground later.

I paid half down and then paid the other half before the final part of the project. My mistake was I paid in cash. They took out a big silver maple and did some trimming. They were going grind out the stump of the tree but never showed back up. I called them the week after they were to come back and grind out the stump and was told that they had to deal with some storm damage and they would be back later that week. They did not show and I have been calling them every week to have them finish the job but they are not returning my calls.
Description of Work: They were to come out and cut down a large silver maple, grind down the stump, and do some trimming around the house.
