It went very well. They obtained the materials and scheduled installation about two weeks sooner than expected, which was great. The installer worked diligently along with a plumber, and the job took one day plus a few hours. I'm very satisfied with the results.

They started the project early and finished in one day. They went above and beyond by retrieving or old shower head after it was thrown out and sent us a thank you gift. Great company to work with!

They were very good. They did a good job. I think that their customer service could be a little bit better. They were very prompt with the way they did things and they cleaned the mess up and everything so they were really good about that.

It was fine. It went well. It was a replacement and then they had to adjust some things. They could have been a little faster in getting here. We ordered a window. It took all summer before they finally got here. The original window was put in by The Board Store 20 years ago and it became defective. It leaked water. It really wasn't under warranty anymore. But they gave me an exceptionally good price on replacement because it was their window in the first place. They were wonderful to me.

Job site was always clean! They were able to get us in sooner than originally thought. This was a big job and we had some bumps along the way. They truly stand behind their work, they brought problems to us professionally and didn't want to just skip over items that could be bigger problems down the road. Everyone I came in contact with was awesome! I am going to have them do some upcoming work for me here soon!

I tried to shop for best price but not many contractors will even return calls. TBS does return calls promptly and sends someone over for a quote promptly. I appreciated that. When it came time to do the work, it was done quite a bit later than I had expected and I worried that the project would not get done before the first significant snowfall. It involved work on the roof, so the stated goal was to get it done well before that. For whatever reason I waited a little longer than I had hoped to get the work done. Their employees are friendly and do a good job. I?d recommend them, however I would in the future give myself more time to get more than one quote.

They estimated it would take them 11/2 to 2 days to complete the job. It took them 4 days. The whole job was done by a one man crew. The job would have been completed on schedule if it weren't for the 1-1/2 hour drive each way to our job site from their location. The installer was very professional, also very respectful of our property. He covered all the outside bushes and inside flooring with drop cloths. When finished with a window, he vacuumed and cleaned up every scrap of material. and hauled that and the old windows away. He insulated and caulked around every window and door opening to make sure everything was sealed and weatherproof properly. My wife and I are highly satisfied with the Board Store, from the salesperson right through the installation process. We would recommend their services. PS. We love the windows.

We went to the store and looked at floor models to get ideas for a bathroom remodel and scheduled an estimate. The gentleman came to our home and spent a good deal of time getting ideas and taking measurements. He was going to get back to us with an estimate but we never heard another word from him. We found another contractor and were thrilled with the work.

Contrary to Angies List, The Boardstore does not do garage doors, or repair them. No work was ordered or done thus, I have no way to grade them but was forced to select an Overall grade???

I purchased a home in Prairie du Chien (about 2 hours from where I was previously living) with a picture window in the living room that was original to the home. I wanted a Bay window with a window seat to update the look as well as provide a place for my cats to hang out. The catch was that I wanted this done prior to moving in. The folks at the Board Store were very accommodating. They notified my Realtor when they were going to be on site. They did everything, had everything cleaned up and locked up behind them. The bay window and seat is gorgeous! My cats and I love it! They did a beautiful job! I couldn't tell they had even been in the house when I moved in. Fantastic work. I will definitely be using their services again in the future!

It went very well.the installation was excellent, despite the extremely cold weather.

We had some difficult curved windows which they did an excellent job replacing including matching the existing wood work

Workers were on time and did an excellent job installing the windows & putting on inside trim. Workers were courteous and met my expectations. This is the 2nd house we had the Board Store install windows.

Work completion o n April ,2013 started around 20th Feb, but cold weather slowed down initial install. Initial install completed 25th Feb and patio door install on 2nd April. Wrong door initially ordered.

Jim W. was great with helping me decide just what I wanted, giving me options and estimates. Jack was great-very neat, precise, great at his job! Jessica (in office) was very helpful in getting things scheduled around a vacation already planned.

The installers did a fantastic job putting the new winsows in, they are sealed extreamely well and the winsows themselves are everything the salesman promised them to be. They woirk great and look fantastic. We found tha salesman to be very knowledgable about the process and gave us excelent advice. I am also very pleased with how and quot;The Board Storeand quot; conducts business, you see, the day after We signed the original contract to have the work done part of the people at my company went on strike and the company was threatening to lock the doors. I called Jeff at the Boardstore and asked if they could hold the check till I found out what was going to happen at work. He said and quot;no Problemand quot; I understand just let me know when you find out which way you want to go, no hurry. A week later the company shut down and I had to go pick up the check and cancel the deal, but I told him if I found a new job soon enough I would be back and we would bring the deal back on line. Since I am writing the review You may have sumised I found a new job. When I went in Jeff got out the original paprework , we adjusted a few dates and away we went. Thats the way a business should be run. First class all the way!

We wanted a deck that might possibly turn into a sun-room at a later time so it needed to be structurally very sound. We got several estimates and the Board Store was one of the pricier estimates but we chose them because my neighbor had used them and found their service to be very good. The store did everything on the estimate in a timely and professional manner. We will use them in the future should the need arise.

Rep was very knowledgeable about the products and took the time to explain things if we didn't understand. He was very professional and punctual.

The carpenters arrived on time, explained options as the job progressed, did an excellent job of installing the new doors. Ensured that we had no questions / were satisfied and cleaned up at the end of the job.

Their bid was on middle of three bids. The bid was professionally done with necessary information. The work was professionally done when promised. The attic insulation was postponed for month due to extreme heat. We agreed to this and they returned when temperature cooled. All work done as promised and work site cleaned when finished.
