Very well. Another estimate from another service was almost 4 times what I was charged just for the large stump alone. He was prompt and cleaned up the areas well. Very happy with his work.

Two weeks went by, so with no activity I called Les. He stated that there was a problem with the hydraulics in his lift, but that it should be repaired shortly. Another two weeks go by with no activity, so I call Les. He stated that they had been backed up and delayed with the unusually raining summer, but should have the tree down in another week. Another week passes. I call Les and left a message. Did not hear back. Another week, left another message, no return call. It was becoming apparent that Les' Tree Service was both not only not going to return my call, but not was not going to cut down my tree. This was annoying for multiple reasons. When quoting me a price, he certainly could have declined the job; no harm, no fowl. If something after the point of agreement, he could have called and told me he'd be unable to perform the tree service, in which case I'd move on. By pushing of the date and then not calling back, Les Tree Service cost me the time necessary to contract a roofer prior to winter. Needless to say, by my experience I'd rate Les's Tree service as unprofessional and would not recommend this service.

I don't know how his work quality is because he never showed up for the scheduled work or called me to reschedule. I called him several times to see what happened but, no one ever returned my calls.

Overall Les's Tree Service was a great find and value. After I had called, Les came out and gave me a quote to remove the tree and to chip out the stump. At the time the backlog was about three weeks. I had not heard from Les for several weeks after that and checked back in with him and he was waiting to do a couple tree's in the neighborhood. Since I was not in a hurry, that was fine with me but communication could have been just a little bit better. They arrived and cut the entire tree down in a partial day and stacked the wood chunks in a pile, chipping all of the branches and debris. A few days later they stopped by and chipped the stump and also did a great job there and cleaned everything up as well. I would definitely use Les again for any work I have in the future and would highly recommend this service due to the value, professionalism and that he actually calls you back when you leave a message!

Very impressed! Actually came 2 days later (on a Saturday) and his crew of 3 men took down the tree from the storm as well as another dead tree. Hauled all the branches up our hill to be chopped up and cut the remaining trunk into bigger chunks. We wanted to save it for firewood. It went very quickly...a few hours to take down the trees and cleaned up nicely. Thought $600 seemed like a fair price for how big the trees were. Very satisfied.

They initially asked if I wanted them to remove the debris and I said I could do that(to save some money as my previous estimates from other companies were so high). It took 2 days to have the stumps ground down. I removed most the debris the first day and the tree care people removed the rest the next day. They did not charge me any extra for the removal. They quoted me a price of $150 initially just for the main tree stump removal. Then, after I added the extra jobs of 2 more stumps and 3 bushes, they only charge $75 more so the total was $225. Previous quotes from another company was $800 just for the tree stump. He was very polite, thorough and offered to come back free of charge if there were any concerns with extended roots. The tree roots were trailing under a deck that needs to be removed yet. I was extremely happy with the price, the quality of work and the follow up. I would highly recommend this service to anyone needing tree or brush service.

This was a highly technical piece of work that went almost flawlessly. The tree threatened my property and Les's crew attacked it with a great deal of technical expertise and hard work. The downed tree and the trimmed branches from another tree were chipped. This produced an enormous amount of chips, a dump truck load, to give you an idea of the amount of foliage that was downed. The majority of the work was performed in one day. My only complaint was that it took Les a few weeks to come back and grind the stump. But when he came back, he did a very good job. Despite poor responsiveness, I would use Les again because the quality of his work was so high and the price he charged was so low, much lower than his competitors. If you want a great value for your money, and you are not in a great deal of a hurry to get the work done and it's in your nature to be patient, Les is your man!

I received frequent communication. The original quote was for three trees, but one was not on my property. The final bill was not 2/3 of the quoted cost, but they provided services not initially requested. They are very versed in forestry.

Les was recommended to me by another satisfied customer. Les returned phone calls promptly and communicated information about the job clearly. The work was done when he said that it would be and he checked back to make sure that we were satisfied with the job. His charge was $150 per hour. This included the need for a bucket truck for one tree and a chipper to dispose of tree canopy branches. In total we had six trees removed, excluding stumps, for $1,500. I would hire Les again.

He does a good job. He was very reasonable.
