They will give you an accurate estimate and information on your tool whether to replace it, junk it, or repair it. In fact, they are very strong about their advice. I wanted to get rid of a 22-year-old tractor last year and they said don't do that. You can't buy anything better than that. Spend the 400 bucks and fix it, so I did.

I went to Lowes and they recommended I use Joe's Power Center. They came and picked up the mower for the repair. My experience was good. The problem was difficult for them and they escalated it up to the factory who was able to trouble shoot it. It took a long time, because they needed the extra help, but they did get it fixed.

I took in my garden tiller to get an estimate on repairs. The tines didn't move and I thought it was either the clutch or the transmission that was malfunctioning. Joe's Power Center was busy and told me 5-7 working days before they could look at it. After 10 working days, I had to contact them only to get an incomplete report and that I would get a call back the next day. Two days later, I had to call them back again - only to find nobody knew anything about it. I did get my estimate later that day but it was later than it should have been. I feel they needed to let me know if they couldn't keep to the dates promised. The estimate cost over 30 bucks and it told me what I already suspected - it was the transmission and it is too costly to fix. I am looking to buy a new tiller, but probably not at Joe's Power Center.
