Work was performed while we were away, so not sure who actually did the work, but I don't think it was Ted, the owner. Had some repair work in a hallway and the boards were not matched well, so had to have them come back at a later date to redo that work. When that was being done, the wrong finish was placed on the boards, Bona Mega and the sheen did not match. Ted came back to re-do this, however we are still left with only 1 coat of Traffic HD in our hallway and scratches are showing. Ted did all of the follow-up work. He was pretty responsive, however perhaps I didn't ask all the right questions, because if I had known how much dust would really be left behind (red dust from the cherry) I would have put plastic over everything. Almost a year and a half later I am still finding dust. We had our ducts cleaned last summer by Jim's Heating and Cooling as the red dust was in the duct work, as well. We were also left with holes in all of our baseboards where they nail gunned them back on. This was probably unavoidable, but again, perhaps I didn't ask all the right questions and maybe they should have been more up front with me on this. I had read such great reviews about the Bona Traffic product, I guess I was hoping for a little better performance after only a year and a half. Then again, maybe it's something we should have had more than two coats of, and I would have appreciated if Ted would have told me up front if that was the case. We would have paid for an extra coat, no problem. Hoping we don't have do it again, as it requires moving all furniture out of the house, which is another expense. Overall, I would say we had a mediocre experience. I think Ted is a nice person, but perhaps my expectations were too high for the product we chose.
