ALL ABOUT IMPROVEMENTS

When they finally started they didn't have the same crew that had worked on our neighbors home ( we found out they had quit). The owner started hiring guys out of the local jails work release program. From day one we questioned the qualitity of the work, we complained about the mess, the lack of safety equipment and the fact that weeks would go by without any workers. 2 months passed and after they promised to complete the project with a new crew they stopped. We found out there insurance had expired and we had it. We got quotes to fix the damage, done, which their insurance paid for some but noothing on the uncompleted work. We took him to court and received a ruling for a full payment from the judge. David never has paid us a dime and I thought I should share this story.

HE PERFORMED THE JOB WITH NO WORKMAN'S COMPENSATION, AND HIS INSURANCE LAPSED DURING THE TIME HE WAS WORKING. HE HAD TERRIBLE WORKMANSHIP, HE DID NOT INCLUDE ALL PRODUCTS AND MATERIALS THAT WERE IN THE CONTRACT. HE STARTED THE JOB IN JULY, IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A 10 DAY PROJECT, AND 2 MONTHS LATER HE LEFT THE JOB INCOMPLETE AND I'LL HAVE TO FINISH IT MYSELF. HE ALSO BORROWED MY LADDER AND NEVER RETURNED IT, AND A HAND GRINDER. HE DID NOT FOLLOW THE CONTRACT AND KEPT ASKING FOR MONEY. HE LEFT US WITH SCRAPS AND TRASH IN OUR DRIVEWAY AND HE NEVER CAME BACK TO CLEAN UP. PIECES OF THE SKYLIGHT FLASHING FELL OFF AND HIT OUR NEIGHBOR'S CAR. THEY ALSO DID DAMAGE TO ANOTHER NEIGHBOR'S HOME. WE HAD INTERIOR WATER DAMAGE DUE TO LACK OF PROTECTION DURING THE PROJECT, INCLUDING CARPET DAMAGE AND 2 CEILINGS. THEY HAD TOTAL DISREGARD TO SAFETY AND WOULD COME UNANNOUNCED AND LEAVE A BIG MESS. HE DROVE NAILS THROUGH MY EXPOSED SOFFITS WHICH DAMAGED THE WOODWORK.
