My initial interaction with Kenny from Southeast Appliance repair seemed like he was a good repairman, but I’ve since learned he’s an absolute thief! We were connected to this company through American Home Shield, and Kenny Indicated the job was finished and was paid, but he never fixed my dishwasher! It’s been a nightmare because he came initially, so American Home shield won’t assign another tech and has had terrible communication all around! Kenny won’t reply to texts or phone calls, from me or the insurance company! If you get assigned Kenny as the contact, save yourself some time and ask for someone new!! It so sad that repair people are taking advantage of these programs and the normal homeowners suffer as a result! Here is the contact number you should avoid +1 (414) 418-2504!

Purchased a home that included a home warranty with HSA Home Warranty. About a week after we moved in the Microwave stopped working showing a error code on the display panel. Unplugged the Microwave and stopped using it. About two weeks later (now over three weeks in the new house) the dishwasher started leaking and stopped using the dishwasher. I put a claim in with HSA Home Warranty and sent them $100. HSA advised that Southeast Appliance Repair would be reaching out. Several days past and never heard from them, I tried calling but not returning my calls. Finally had HSA call them and the owner showed up. While at my house diagnosing the issues the owner stated that he was going to recommend to HSA to replacement of the microwave as for the dishwasher he stated not to use as there was a leak on the motor. he stated that he was going to submit the report and it would take 24 hours. Couple days past and I called HSA asking what the statues was. HSA told me that it was not covered because the owner of Southeast Appliance stated that it was a Pre-excising issue, but they were not able to explain what that meant(very hard time understanding the representative at HSA as I think the call center not is based in the US) and that I should reach out to Southeast Appliance to get an explanation. Tried calling the owner of Southeast Appliance for 10 days straight, left messaged, never return my calls. I called HSA back and told them I was having no luck reaching Southeast Appliance, they called him while on hold and he answered and told them that if I called he will answer. I called him, he answered and stated I told him the dishwasher and microwave were not working when we moved in. I NEVER TOLD HIM THAT, COMPLETE LIE!! I explained to him that weeks after we moved in the unites stopped working. I have a home inspection report that shows both the microwave and the dishwasher where in proper working conditions. Because of his LIES I'm out $100, microwave and dishwasher.

First, Kenny was a little late. I was able to shrug that off because the man seemed genuinely busy. His phone was ringing constantly throughout the service call. I found Kenny to be personable and funny; we had a conversation throughout the service call. He fixed the problem with the freezer, manually defrosting the appliance and rewiring the circuit board. He left his card for me; I was pretty happy to have found an "appliance guy" who I could call when something happened. Unfortunately, once Kenny left, our ice maker, which had been making ice just fine, never worked again. It's been a month and I've left at least 6 or 7 messages for Kenny. He will not return my calls. I've tried involving the home warranty company. They've placed a few calls to Kenny as well, but they said they can't get resolution on the matter. Further, since ice makers are not covered under a home warranty policy, they won't send anyone else out to fix the appliance. So, no, my freezer no longer leaks. But, since Kenny was at the house to service the freezer, it no longer makes ice. And, despite frequent calls, Kenny refuses to return my call to discuss how we can fix the problem.
Description of Work: Ken came out to fix our freezer, which was leaking a bit of water. The service was covered by our home warranty policy. The leak stopped, but since he left, the freezer no longer produces ice. Despite frequent calls to schedule a follow up, Ken refuses to return my phone calls.

Ken came to fix our oven. He diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it within 30 minutes. He was very professional and is willing to do whatever he can to fix the appliance. I am VERY thankful he came the night prior to thanksgiving to get my kitchen in working order for the holiday. Thank you!
