carpet installation
 + -1 moreWhen I was looking for a contractor I saw the Mitchell Carpets advertisement. We had them install our carpet at our old house before they were on this website. Mitchell Carpets not only recommended and installed cheap carpet in the one room, but both Jeff and Elizabeth were very rude and not interested in customer service. When we encountered an issue with the installation they dragged their feet and said that they would be sending someone, but never did. When I went into the store to follow up, they were extraordinarily rude and made it clear that they were not going to make it right in front of other customers. Whenever I have friends ask me about flooring, I warn them about Mitchell Carpets. The owner is the problem here...I would recommend to stay far away from this company!

 + 0 moreActual installation took 2 days. Made nice transitions to other tiled rooms and in front of the fireplace. Looks great and am very pleased with the process and outcome.
Description of Work: Installed 653 sqft of Somerset 3 1/4 ' strip Hardwood in living, dining and family rooms. Red oak solid wood. Also installed matching half round molding. Removed old carpeting and screw down decking to eliminate squeaks where necessary.
