We called Casablanca as one of three estimates we wanted for work on our newly purchased house. We knew our request would be a challenge; we needed the entire house painted within a narrow, two week window, allowing enough time for new carpeting to be installed before we physically moved in. Casablanca was the second potential contractor we met. However after our initial meeting, we hired them on the spot, without even getting a quote from the first provider nor meeting the third. Our reasons: 1) Ben clearly knew his trade inside and out; he pointed out things we hadn't noticed about the house and how he would address them. His focus on quality and deep expertise was really apparent. 2) Ben and Nancy demonstrated a lot of flexibility in meeting our time line. They were already booked with other projects, but made it clear they could flex to squeeze us in. At the time we met we were still juggling schedules for other contractors. Ben and Nancy made it clear they could meet our changing deadline. 3) Their quoted price was reasonable and fair. Could I have found a cheaper price? Possibly, but the quality of the work performed compared to what they charged made me feel like we were getting a lot of value for our money. Today, two weeks to the day that we hired Casablanca, they finished. And the house looks fantastic! Their attention to detail was amazing; previous home owners had painted the house themselves, leaving Ben and his crew some challenging fixes. They corrected things we simply couldn't ourselves, including painting a poorly patched textured ceiling. We couldn't be happier.

We were collecting bids to have our two story foyer painted. I called Ben and the same day he came out to give us a bid. He was prompt and very thorough in his quote. He clearly has an eye for quality and pointed out various defects on the walls that needed patched prior to painting. He did great job explaining exactly what needed to be done to make everything look nice. We haven't decided what we're doing with the space yet, but when we're ready to paint we will definitely call Casablanca Painting.

It was in a very good experience. This is the second job they've done for us and the work is top notch! It was difficult to set a schedule, they are very busy. but all in all I would have them come again and do more painting for us in the future. They always do a very professional job and it looks great!!

They answered the phone immediately and got the bid back in a reasonable amount of time. Bid was slightly high, and in the end our investor decided not to have the work done at this time.

Ben and his team did a great job. They were there promptly in the mornings and cleaned up well every night before going home. The quality of the painting is excellent. Great eye to the details and I would recommend them to anyone.

The kitchen cabinets were beautifully done, excellant job painting them white. Overall very satisfied with their work. Took them longer than we expected. Most days it was just 1 person doing the majority of the work, would have moved faster if more people were put on the job at once.

Great. He even found where a few more nails had popped out from when the roof was replaced.

Outstanding detail work - even painted the electric and gas meters! Material and tools gathered up at the end of the day. Updates and issues were brought to the fore daily.

It was a great experience top notch job very nice people. I would give there name out as a referral anytime. They always showed up on time and stayed as long as they could to get the job done as good and as quick as they could. Always kept in contact with us making sure we were happy with the progress

They did a great job. Gave me an estimate and went ahead and explained what I wanted done. They did everything I wanted and more. The workmanship was wonderful and on time and cleaned up after themselves.

I called them, they set up an appointment, and they were there the next day. Ben is the owner, and he actually showed up with his secretary. They walked around, and I pointed out everything that I wanted done. They gave me a price which I checked with three other painters, and their price was even with everyone else. I called them to let them know that I had selected them, and they came back out to look at the job again. We picked out the colors, and they started the job on the day that I had requested them to start it. The job was done perfectly, they cleaned up so well that I couldn’t even tell that there had been a painter there, and that is what a beautiful job they did.

Initial impression was positive. Ben and Timmy came by and did the initial evaluation and estimate within a few hours of being called, and provided a what I thought to be a thorough review and estimate. Work began a few days later. Unfortunately, Ben had to leave town for a personal family emergency. Each morning I would come by the house at the agreed upon time (8:00am) to let the men in, and then each evening when they were finished, they were to call me so I could go by and lock up. Typically, Timmy and Jose would show up between 15-30 minutes late in the morning. They appeared to be working hard tough, so I didn't complain too much. The first couple of days, I would get a call from TImmy when they were done so I could lock up, however they were usually cutting out around 2:30-3:00, so they were working short days. After the first couple of days though, Timmy stopped calling, leaving me to guess when they were done and just swing by to lock up. Each evening when I came by to lock up, I would do a walk-through to see what they had gotten done, and make notes of things they needed to correct (i.e. paint on carpet, missed drywall pops/dings, paint runs, etc.) to give them the following morning, hoping to minimize issues after the painting was done. Fast forward to when they claimed to be done. My wife and I did a walkthrough and were dismayed by what we found. Colored paint on the carpet and ceiling, a large pool of water on our hardwood floors where all the ice from the freezer had melted (they had neglected to ever plug it back in after painting behind it) a molded lunch of one of the painters left in the refrigerator, paint left in our bathroom and kitchen sinks where they had rinsed their brushes and not cleaned up afterward, white primer spilled all over the driveway and in the lawn, several pieces of painters tape left in the front lawn, etc. Not to mention the STILL missed drywall pops and cornerbead patches. The list took up nearly five pages. Casablanca Painting returned a couple of days later ( due to prior obligations on our part the following day ) to make the necessary repairs. When they left there were still several places where there was paint on the carpeting, blinds, floorboards, and linoleum, as well as places where you could still see the primer through the paint. They claimed there was nothing they could do about the driveway, but cut the grass with the paint of it with a pair of scissors, leaving a noticeable, nearly bald spot in the lawn. In the end, we ended up having to tell them we were going to have to wait for Ben's return to proceed. Upon his return, Ben was the picture of professionalism, exactly as expected. He personally came through our house and addressed all our complaints. He patched the holes that had been missed, touched up paint where needed and even touched up some areas that weren't their fault, but where our child safety gates had pulled the paint off the walls. He also cleaned up the paint from the blinds, floorboards, and carpets, and has hired a company to come in and refinish the surface of the driveway so cover up the spilled paint. All in all, I am happy with the finished result. However, I would caution anyone looking to hire them to make sure if you do that Ben is in town and on site, because the crew cannot be left to take care of matters without him. As the saying goes, "When the cat's away, the mice will play."

It went very well. I called on a saturday morning based on a review on Angie's list . Ben came by for an estimate at 4 that same afternoon. We talked and decided to go ahead with the work as he was offering winter discounts. I gave him a deposit, and we settled on date to begin. I picked out the paint in the meantime. They came on time, and began work as scheduled. I would see the progress each day when I returned home. After all was finished, before final payment was made, Ben came by to make sure I was happy with the work. A couple of little touch-ups were needed on the window frames, but he took care if it right away. I would call Casablanca in the future.

When it came time to revitalize my home, Casablanca Painting was sub-contracted to repaint every room. Ben, the owner, and his crew were professional, courteous, worked cleanly and finished the job on time and on budget. Casablanca did everything possible to organize the job to make sure my elderly mother was not inconvenienced. I was so impressed with their work that I contracted directly with Casablanca to repaint the exterior of my house and the screened in patio. They dry walled the garage walls and ceiling and painted the floor with industrial grade paint. Again, I was delighted with their work. This year I hired Casablanca to remodel my ugly yellow concrete hole called the basement. They turned it into a living room, bedroom, half bath, combination laundry and hobby room and a large storage room. All I had to do was help draw up the design, pick out materials and answer questions. Casablanca handled everything else. On top of that, they called in a roofer who gave me a great price to put on a new 30 year roof. I just had my home inspected and appraised this month. The inspector could not find one thing wrong with my home. He said "the work done on this house was excellent. I could not find on thing that needed to be fixed or changed." By the way, I was also delighted at the increase in the appraised value. I will be using Casablanca Painting exclusively in the future as the general contractor for my rental properties.
