Took over a year to start after they were paid first half ($46,000). Then took roofing off knowing it was going to rain the next 3 days. Flooded me kitchen. Kitchen will have to have new plaster put in. He did not care. Did not replace all concrete walls in basement, just outside walls but made it look like he was going to do them all till my back was turned. then it was to late. Said he could not find his notes he made with all the details and contract was not general description of job. He said he did not remember a lot of things that was talked about so he did not do them. The basement wall are not bow in and out. The stud wall he put in bows out two inches at door in center of 13 foot wall. His new floor cracked a week after it was put in. I ended up doing all the pluming myself because he would not, even though he was to do it. Along with putting in sump pump so basement did not flood. He was to do that to (in contract). He said I had to do it. He did thing that were not needed to charge more. Then canceled contract so he did not have to pay to have concrete taken away. And his crew only worked 3 to 4 hours a day. I was told it would only take a month to do it all. Took over 3 years before it was done. He still has not paid me the bill (over $5,000) I gave him for thing I did he was to do.

They "Attention To Detail" were hired to put in, a new kitchen floor and island. I hired them 11/03/19 and was told by owner Steve Anderson that it would be done in time for Thanksgiving. They did everything wrong from the start (he did not have skilled workers, one was a chef and the other, who knows). They took up part of the floor and never masked anything (so the construction dirt and dust is all over newly painted walls and expensive leather furniture). Had to hire professional cleaners to come in and clean up all the construction dirt mess. He (Mr. Anderson) installs an island in the wrong place (all he had to do is put it where the original one was) he put it where I could not move my refrigerator out, without removing its doors. Then he laughs about installing the island wrong! He says he would get someone in to move it to the right place-that never happened! He just lied about that, for he didn't have anyone to fix all his mistakes. I had two professional home remodel guys come in and they couldn't understand how this guy (Anderson) could be in business (shoddy workmanship)and they really got a kick out of his name "Attention To Detail". They"Attention To Detail", also had a plumbing place come in and hook up the water under the sink and their plumber told me that I could go ahead and use my dishwasher (which I did) and approx. 12 gallons of water from my dishwasher went back into my finished basement ceiling! (His plumber failed to tighten the pipes properly!) So now I'm in the process of re-doing my damaged basement ceiling. I wouldn't recommend "Attention To Detail",even to build a dog house, for they would screw that up also! On that basement ceiling that his plumber screwed up by not tightening the pipes properly, it cost me $334.84 out of my pocket yesterday. Last week a professional home remodeler redone the whole island & put down a great looking kitchen floor! At last, work all done properly and all went so smoothly! The experience with this business has been a nightmare from day 1, they were told not to park in my driveway-they parked in a $15,000 paver stone driveway and leaked oil from their work vehicles on it. Never cleaned up after themselves, I had to clean up their messes in my garage.

Last year we hired Attention to Detail to do work in our kitchen. They were to Install a vent, clean up drywall, install two can lights and an under cabinet light. They damaged our cooktop, scratched up the vent, and installed the under-cabinet light improperly. We never were able to use the can-lights because they would get too hot. I had a licensed electrician out to discuss re-doing all the electrical work Attention to Detail put in. Not only did Attention to Detail install the under the cabinet light improperly (placement and electrically), but he put can-lights in that are not rated to have insulation above them. The licensed electrician informed me the can-lights they installed are a fire hazard. I do not believe Attention to Detail is a licensed electrician, with that said they should not be doing electrical work and putting peoples safety at risk. I would never recommend Attention to Detail to anyone. Consumer beware you will pay more to correct all their carelessness and mistakes.
