This contractor never contacted me after making the initial request

They showed up on time and did a good job. We would hire them again.

Job was completed in a timely manner and beautifully done. Window wells installed, soil pitched and graded and plants (many, many) planted again at proper level.

Late in fall 2015 we got serious about transforming our small, boring patio. We had several contractors come out to give us bids, but we only "clicked" with one; Chad Vanderloop! He showed his passion and enthusiasm for transforming our back yard, listened carefully to what we wanted, and worked with one of his associates, Gary Lemke, to come up with a fantastic plan. In late spring of this year, Chad and his great crew did the hardscaping, Gary worked with us on the plants, and we did the planting and mulching ourselves. As you can see from the pictures, the results were spectacular! We are very, very pleased, and are so glad we found Chad to do this transformation, it far exceeded our expectations.

It went very well and I am very happy. I had four estimates and plans done. After talking with all of the companies and contacts, I chose Chad. I am happy I did. He was very honest and matter of fact with what needed to be done and had suggestions. He worked with me on a couple options. He and his crew had the project done in 3 days and he kept me informed along the way. He was very responsive to my calls and my emails with questions. He worked with me to keep the final cost close to the estimate. Overall, I am very pleased with the work Vanderloop Landscape did for me.

We received several bids in early July - Vanderloop was mid range. We liked him and how he said he would do it. He also made recommendations that worked well for our yard. We had some problems connecting (us picking brick, him on other jobs), but he edged the areas we talked about at the price quoted (even thought the brick was no longer on sale). The job took 1 1/2 days and looked very, very nice. We then inquired about his mulch and chose to have him deliver to us (we spread our own mulch).

Called 5 places and 3 got back to me. They were second lowest. But since they were a bit smaller companies than the others, I thought I'd give them the business. End result = Remarkable service - pricing a bit higher - but the add'l work and service made it cheaper. I asked for another area to be done and they went to get more mulch - not charging me for the add'l delivery charge. Here is the great part. The others said 3-4 weeks. They were there in 2 days and done in less than one day. I helped a bit, but they were well staffed and I kind of felt helpless - nothing new for me... but they really took care of business. They were also very well equipped. Had the best mulch I have ever had. Also, they really knew what they were doing. Right equipment people and method. Highly recommend them again.
