 + 0 moreBy the next morning, I had an email from one of the Westphals and another from one of his service managers, and the manager also followed up with a voice mail to arrange the visit the following Monday first thing in the morning (7) so I could get to work on time. He suggested I go pick up the fixture myself at a home improvement store so I could get what I wanted in that short period of time, which I did. He quoted the work over the phone based on the description of work to be done ($200-$400), and it was about what I would expect. The electrician was here a couple of minutes before 7 (thank you!!!) and understood what was needed. The bill came this weekend for $262.79. We are very grateful for their excellent responsiveness and will use them again if we have a future need, and have already been talking them up. Would give them A++ on responsiveness and punctuality if we could.
Description of Work: Needed some light fixtures and switches replaced/fixed. Had not been able to get a response from the usual person we use. Sent Westphal an email through their website one evening outlining the things we needed done. Currently we are challenged that no one is here between 7 and 3, which made it more complicated.

 + -1 moreExcellent!! This was a difficult job since the pool table was already in place, but they got in square in the center of the table after having to rig up a scaffolding to stand on. I should say that this is the 2nd time I've used them for electrical work. The first time they installed a sub-pannel on my main box for my hot tube and pond in the back yard and ran all of the power to both.
Description of Work: They installed a pool table light and new box over my new pool table.

 + -1 moreWestphal pulled the permit, did the work in one day, cleaned everything up when they finished, had the inspector out, and fixed the minor problem the inspector found. The work is professionally done, neat, and everything works perfectly -- I'm 100% satisfied. I've used them for two other projects, and would use them again in the future.
Description of Work: I needed to add a sub-panel into my basement wood shop, as well as add a 220v outlet and 4 110v outlets, and rewire the existing outlets in the shop area. The cost covered all work, including the panel, breakers, and outlets, as well as materials, and I was billed for the exact amount in the estimate.

Description of Work: Our neighborhood was having the power lines transferred undergroud. Westphal was used my many of our neighbors because they gave the best bid. Westphal did an excellent job of working with the Power Company, being available when they were, and keeping us better informed that the Power Company. The Power Company was to keep us updated, but were poor with communication and updates. This process of burying the lines took the entire summer and communication was poor. Thanks to Westphals for handling them. Also when the gentlemen were waiting for Power Company, they changed an electrical plug for our computer and answered a few question at no charge! Both men from Westphal's were great, I would refer them in a minute!

 + -1 moreI couldn't be happier. I was expecting a huge drywall repair job, and only had to make one small patch. The light works perfectly.
Description of Work: We bought a house that had a study, which had no installed lighting. I wanted to put an overhead light in the middle of the ceiling, with switches located at each of the two doors. I was expecting to have to tear out a lot of drywall to get this done. The installer was able to make one small hole, fish all the wiring between the studs and joists, and do the job in a couple of hours.
