Shawn Richards is the most unprofessional contractor I've ever worked with. He started work on our concrete deck on May 5, 2021. Shawn noticed paint splatters on our siding, so he assumed that adding concrete splatters from his work wouldn’t matter. The splatters wouldn’t have been an issue if he’d put up a plastic sheeting as he said he would. While pouring concrete, Shawn didn’t properly brace the forms and concrete broke the forms and went everywhere, resulting in a huge mess and a delay for clean-up. When cutting the expansion joints, the concrete cracked in 2 places which he was unable to fix. His attempts to make them look less noticeable failed. Shawn applied finishing stain AFTER the new railings were in place. As a result, the stain splattered on the new railing. He poured the steps, so they slope backward and pool water. He slapped down three globs of concrete in an attempt to fix the pooling. All that did was make it look noticeable and terrible. He walked away from the project on November 1, 2021, without resolving the issues.
Description of Work: Replace our old wooden deck w/ a new concrete deck.
