Significant damage was done to one property. Roofers yanked off old roofing shingles with disregard to care for the adjacent cement board siding and damaged/broke many siding shingles. Roofers slammed their ladders into brand new gutters destroying them and requiring their replacement. Flashing was improperly installed in some sections. Roofers broke a handle off of the garage door and left it lying on a ledge. Roofers absconded with six "roof jacks" that belonged to owners (posssibly mistaking them for their own equipment; however, they were never returned.) Contact person was repeatedly non-responsive. After months of requesting person-to-person inspection of the damages and plan for repair, I was left to find outside contractors to make the repairs. Payment and settlement of the billing has taken months. The second property now has a leak in one section of the roof. A stairwell of that property had been re-roofed just a few years ago by another company. Since there was no problem with that section, I requested that it not be part of the roofing contract. After the roofing was done, my tenants reported leaking. I confirmed that, yes, they had gone ahead and replaced that section (even though I had said not to do that part of the house.) Again, getting a response now for repair of the leak is frustratingly lacking. Because this job has been paid in full, I have very little confidence that they will show up for the repair. In fairness, I chose C & E Wurzer because one of their crews had previously done a fine job on a roof for another family member. Unfortunately, I did not get the "good" crew. Nor did I get timely or satisfactory response to the damages done. Roofs were replace at the end of May, 2017. As of October, 2017, there are still repairs to be done and I have been requesting a meeting to make final payment for the job that I had to sub-contract out for repairs. Waiting and waiting is what I do for them. Do Not Hire!
