Electrician very professional. Work was very well done.

Our main complaints are their pricing and the fact that they would not disclose to us which brand of furnace they intended to install. Instead the focused on specs and types of units, which is fine, but I also want to know what brands they carry. We got the feeling that they offer only very high-end units, which perform well but cost a great deal. By doing some research and comparing performance with various unit brands, we decided to go with another HVAC contractor that offered comparable performance products at a much lower price.

I called because the furnace wasn't turning on. A man from Holland arrived promptly and quickly diagnosed the problem. He showed me how things had deteriorated and I decided to have a new furnace installed. The two men who installed the furnace were equallly professional, friendly and informative.

The furnaces passed inspection but there was a small gas odor that was noted so the one furnace was turned off and in the process a knob on the gas regulator broke. They came out and replaced the regulator and had the furnace back up and running. I thought they performed honestly and professionally.

As always, they work quickly and efficiently and explain everything they do and why they do it. Well done!

They were great. It was a $99 coupon. They were on time and very professional. They did everything I wanted and even didn't charge for a little extra time they gave me.

Very happy with the furnace installation. The owner of the company, Steve Holland visited with us and inspired our confidence in them, we were impressed with the work his company is doing in the community to be of service to those less fortunate.

1st From a cost perspective what started as a $109 deal ended up costing us ~ $400. Overall very happy with the professionalism and service Bryon provided. He definitely knew what he was doing and kept us informed every step of the way.

I have had this company come to my home several times. Each time the electrician was on time, courteous and accomplished the work in a reasonable amount of time. I had used originally purchased a 2 hour deal but they did such a good job that I intend to use this company whenever I need work done.

We had to pay $150 extra for him to install new tube replacements. It would have been nice if he could include the replacement parts in the service price, but he charged us extra $150 for the new tube replacement.

The gentleman was on time, kind and personable. I was concerned that he did not start with my top priority project. He spoke to me about what was going on and asked me questions after each step of his investigation. He was able to fix the canister light. He then got to my first priority project and again spoke to me after each step to let me know what was going on. He found that the wiring had never been connected. He took pictures and documented what he found. He talked to me about it for some time and let me know that in order to fix it, my drywall on the inside of that outside wall would have to be torn into. He left 15 minutes before the 2 hours was complete and never got to any of the other projects. When the contractor came back to fix the outlet, the drywall was never torn into.

The electrician (Andy) arrived on time and was very courteous, polite and professional. He did not have the exact outlet color of the outlets he was replacing, and made sure to let me know that and ask for my approval. He cleaned up his work areas quite well and was done with the job in a little over an hour. I asked for a quote on a future electrical project (replacing all the outlets in our home as well as adding a couple), and he spent quite a bit of time checking every outlet and looking at the wiring in the basement. He provided me with a written quote and coupons for future use. Excellent service!

I was so happy when they said that they could be out there the same night as the day that I called. But then I was considered a non-emergency and my appointment got cancelled. I was unable to have hot water or heat with out these repairs, but I was not an emergency. They got a repair man out a few days later and he was able to give me a quote but not fix it. He was able to tell me exactly what needed to be done and why some of the damaged had happened. I always appreciate a good explanation of the situation. The installation person came during the day (so I had a friend there because I was at work) and he forgot to seal one of the holes in the chimeny, this would again make it dangerous to operate either unit. The plumber that came the same day noticed it, and we got the repair guy back there to seal off the other holes in the chimney. So when you call them they can be there that day, maybe, but they are going to pressure you to sign up for there 'customer club.' I think the club is a good deal. but here is the gist of it so that when you call you will alreayd have had time to run these numbers. I do not have an AC unit so it was one $120 (instead of $240) they give you $100 off of the initial visit to see what is wrong (originally $139) and then a percentage off the repair costs, and they do one furnace tune up a year (if you have an AC they also come look at that once).

Electrician explained everything and gave estimates in advance of doing the work. Polite and considerate electrician - wore shoe slippers while in the house!

They came on time, reviewed what needed to be changed (we belong to a condo association and someone did a hack job on the electrical work). The electrician had to clean up the mis-work before he could even start to perform the work that needed to be completed. He explained what he needed to do, I knew exactly what I needed -- an additional hour of labor and then parts that were required -- and how long it was going to take. He did an awesome job. I have One Hour Heating and AIr Conditioning as my furnace and air conditioning service provider as well. Top notch service ... top notch people.

They were prompt, knowledgeable, courteous, and didn't disrupt the household/family activity. I think it was Ron who visited the first time to take care of the light switches, and Ron and Andy arrived a week or two later for the fan install. I particularly felt comfortable with Ron's experience in the job, and Andy was just very pleasant and they both wasted no time getting the job done. They cleaned up after themselves and I felt the price was fair for the work they performed.

The electrical work had three appt. dates and only one appt. involved having two electricians working together. The arrival time was always prompt and both men were very courteous and showed respect when coming into my home. They worked very hard to manage their time and fix the problems that were discussed. When Bryron had to work up in the hot attic,he did not complain and explained that "it's all part of the job". They both cared about meeting the objectives .

Several electricians arrived and made short work of replacing almost 20 electrical outlets. They were very polite, thorough and clean in performing their work..

The communication was horrible. When I first purchased the deal, I received an email from a contact with Holland, I believe their office manager or receptionist. After a few emails back and forth I contacted her a last time and she indicated that she had left Holland but was passing my email along to them. I never received any communication from Holland after that. I finally remembered the deal a couple months later and contacted Holland, at which point they sent an electrician to the house on a Tuesday to provide a quote. The electrician was on time and friendly and walked through his thoughts on the project. When he left, he indicated that I would receive a quote within a couple of days. He called later that day and left a message with a couple of follow-up questions, and I called him back and left a voicemail answering the questions. He called me the following Monday to follow up and indicated that the quote would be coming shortly. During the call, he asked me the same follow-up questions that I had answered in my voicemail. When I told him I already left him a voicemail with the answers, he said he was having problems with his phone. During the call, he also said he was pleased to tell me that the quote looked like it would be significantly less than the $150/light he had roughly estimated when he visited, he thought around $75-100 per light. Minutes later, I received an email with a quote of $150/light. I immediately emailed back indicating I was confused since he indicated on the phone it would be less than $150/light. I received no response to my email until Friday when I received a phone call from the electrician. He asked if I had any follow-up questions or wanted to move forward. I told him I emailed him with a question, and he said a colleague had actually sent the email from his email address and he wasn't sure why they didn't answer my question. He also said he didn't know why the quote was the way it was, but he would check and get back to me. He sent an email Monday morning with a new quote. The price was adjusted a mere $50 (less than $10/light), and there was no explanation for the price other than that it included their labor, which was understood from the beginning, even when he said the price would be closer to $75-100/light. The email was also clearly typed in a rush (e.g., misspelled my name, all lower case, text speech, misspellings all over the email, etc.) and didn't give me much confidence in the professionalism of the service. I ultimately decided if the communication is this poor before I even commit to the work being performed, I had no confidence that the work would be done correctly, on time, or within a budget. I can't speak to Holland's other services, but I would not recommend electrical work with them. The only silver lining is that Angie's List refunded my money for the Big Deal with no hassle at all.

It went very well. I purchased Angie's Deal of $99 for two hours of electrical service. They were able to complete all the tasks I wanted in the two hours. Very nice and professional to work with.
