When contacted by the BBB, he offered to refund $26 (of the $250 we paid) and to perform one last service call for us. We rejected his offer because we know we won't receive the $26 OR the service. He did not meet his contractual obligations and we want this noted in his BBB rating.
Description of Work: Extremely disreputable company and owner. We paid an annual fee of $250 for 3 extermination visits. Ron De La Barra did not show for any of the 3 visits, even when my husband finally contacted him and worked from home to accommodate his visit. He never showed. He never called. We repeatedly tried to call him and wrote him a letter asking for a refund of our check since he did not meet his contractual obligations. Ron finally contacted us to say he'd been in the hospital. We asked for our money back and again no communication. Finally, he showed up on our doorstep, arguing that he had gone above and beyond for us. WHAT? We never heard from him! He's been a no show. He refuses to refund our money, saying he was in the hospital 18 times over the past year, someone did do a service for us and left an invoice in our front door (not true), he forgot to log in an appointment with us, etc. The guy is unbelievable and it's like talking to a brick wall. He thinks he's blameless. We filed a BBB report and he will have a bad report for the next 36 months but we're still out the money. Most of all, we feel taken advantage of by this guy. Excuses, outright lies and refusal to communicate--these are his modus operandi.

He said he was going to come and spray a total of 3 times. He did an okay job in terms of application, but he never came back for the other 2 visits. He was nice on the phone, but hasn't shown up. He is not professional. Also the treatment was not effective.
Description of Work: We used No Escape Pest Control to spray inside and outside the house.
