We bought a foreclosure house, and all the plumbing had to be redone as it was all bad. They are from our area, and my son Nick went to school with the owner’s son, who was taking over, so we thought it would be nice to use them. But they don’t do a good job. We actually hated dealing with them, being a pain at times. We never knew when they would show up. They knew that we wanted to be in by the end of November, but, by the middle of December, I had to call them, and they had to come in and they had to finish the fact. They just claimed that they were busy, but they had known about this since October 25th. There were still leaks down there. I called them and they came over the next day and looked at it. They hardly ever showed up, when they did, they were here for maybe hours, and they would leave. They wouldn’t tell us when they were coming back. It was horrible, it was absolutely horrible. Then the appliances were to be delivered and nothing was ready, we didn’t have any hook-ups for the washer, dishwasher, sink or anything. So I called and put a hold on the delivery, and had them deliver two weeks later. I told them that everything was going to be hooked up on this day, and I told them that till this stage, nothing was ready. The morning that they were going to be delivered for the second time, I had to call them again to see why our dishwasher wasn’t ready to be hooked up. We had already paid $220 for them to hook it up, and nothing was ready, for them to hook it up. He said he couldn’t get out here to do it right away that day, and that I could refuse to have them hook it up and that he was sure they would refund the money back. I asked him if he was serious, as I had already paid it. He said they would refund it, and that he would hook it up when he got over here. I told him that he knew we wanted to move in by the end of November, it was now the middle of December, and I asked him what he was doing. The things don’t go bad without a dishwasher, but that’s not the point, the rest of the work hadn’t even been done yet. So, that’s what I have to say about them. We originally had a problem with the bathroom sinks in half of the house, which wasn’t a huge deal, they could have tapped it off or fixed it for the time being or whatever, but he looked at it and said that all the pipes in the house were bad. So I asked him, what was the difference in price, between having the problem fixed at that time, and redoing everything. He said the difference was high but it was worth having it done. So I asked him to do it. We just got bill from them, it was over $3000. It was supposed to be around $2000, but they doubled it. We still have a problem with the toilet downstairs, its water leaks, and it was brand new when they put it in. The first time, I took a shower here, then, I went downstairs to the kitchen, and found water coming through the kitchen ceiling. When they hooked up the tub, they didn’t seal off the drain. The ceiling is all damaged and it’s still not fixed, so whatever it’s going to cost us to fix, we are going to take that off their bill. They haven’t offered to fix it, they just came the next day and had a look at it, and said they would try something instead of ripping the pipes off the walls, I told them that they dare not damage my walls as the whole bathroom was brand new.
