 + 0 moreWe had several quotes and they were very comparable. We worked with Andy, the owner. There are few employees and it is privately owned. The were great. I would use them again.

 + 0 moreThey tried to cut every corner possible... then they simply didn't finish the work that they agreed to do, but kept the $400 I had paid them to do so. The work they did looks good... but only because the granite (which we found and sourced for them) is beautiful. They tried to install pieces of granite that were mistakenly cut 1/2 inch short, and then refused to complete some work that was previously agreed to... and previously paid for. I have multiple voice messages saved from "Bob" the boss which are obnoxious and rude. We were referred to these guys by someone in the industry... and even that person has refused to ever deal with them again after hearing our story and the others similar to it. You'd be advised to stay away.

Description of Work: I enjoyed working with St. Croix Granite. Two years later I am still thrilled with the work they performed on my bathroom. They installed a beautiful flat black, textured granite countertop with double porcelin sinks. My house is 60 years old. Nothing is square or level but they did an excellent job measuring and cutting the granite to fit perfectly. Also, the caulk is a perfect, tiny bead. I am a DIY kind of person and haven't had much luck with other contractors. Other contractors assume I know nothing and try to get away with poor workmanship or overcharging. The people at St. Croix Granite treated me with respect and patience while I picked a stone I thought would suit my personality and not be too flashy for my modest house. What's crazy is that they were more reasonably priced than a higher quality man made countertop from Menard's.
