Description of Work: Fischer's Furniture restored and repaired a solid cherry dining room set with 4 leaves and 6 chairs. Two of the chairs were completely broken and the glides for the leaf inserts needed to be rebuilt.

+ -1 moreWe had 6 upholstered swivel kitchen chairs on caster wheels refurbished. The swivel mechanism, and all caster wheels, were replaced. The wood arms on all the chairs were replaced with new ones Chris made; the new arms, which looked just like the old arms, made the chairs look brand new. Chris also repaired some holes in the vinyl upholstery. Chris answered my phone calls right away, and was timely in pick-up and delivery. The whole process went smooth. There was a problem with the new caster wheels, and Chris was quick to pick-up the chairs and get the caster wheels replaced. The chairs are 25 years old, and they are now good for another 25 years.
Description of Work: Refurbished six kitchen chairs.

+ -1 moreI'VE USED FISCHERS BEFORE BECAUSE THEY WILL PICK UP AND DELIVER THE FURNITURE AS WELL AS DOING BOTH REPAIRS AND REFINISHING. THEY ARE FAST AND HAVE DONE BEAUTIFUL JOBS OF MATCHING THE FINISH ON THE PIECES.
Description of Work: THEY REFINISHED AND REPAIRED A LARGE COFFEE TABLE THAT HAD BEEN USED AS A PLANT STAND. THE TOP AND SIDES HAD BECOME SEPARATED AND IT WAS STAINED GREEN WITH PLANT FOOD AND HAD THE FINISH DESTROYED. NOW IT IS IN FABULOUS SHAPE.
