PAINTERS PLUS

I had had previous work done by Painters Plus and was pleased with the quality. See earlier review of November 2013 work--that was me. I wanted an exterior door painted and was given a verbal estimate over the telephone of $250 and was told that I should wait for slightly warmer weather, that May 1 or later would work. At the end of April, first part of May, I made a couple calls to set up an appointment and each time was told by the office gal that she would check with the painters on their schedule. I would wait for a callback and not get it. I would call and no appointment was set up, and no callback was made. C'mon, do you want to do the work or not? If not, tell me you don't want to do it. So on 5/15/14 I called someone else. He came out the same day, gave me an estimate, and a firm date to pick up the door for off-site painting. He showed up as promised, the door is now done, and it will be delivered tomorrow. And I still haven't heard from Painters Plus.

The work to be performed was estimated over the phone with the description and square footage I provided to them. The workers were on time and very polite. They went about their work quietly and steadily and protected the flooring. They answered any questions I had while the work was in progress. The office receptionist was very nice during my wishy-washy decision making on the color and although they have a preferred paint provider, they used the store that I had gotten the paint chip from. I think it was probably more expeditious and color was more exact than by having to color-match at their provider. They were a little slow at getting out the billing. Overall, I am pleased with the outcome of their work and plan to use them again on another project in the near future.
