Description of Work: Contracted for a 19x12 deck and 18x12 34-season sun room. Sunspace owner went out of his way to find the decking I wanted. I told him that I would like to apply sealer to bottom before he installed. He said that they would do that in his shop. So, I'm thinking that I finally found a decent contractor in the local area. | |Sunspace owner was friendly and jovial until I brought it to his attention that the deck was supposed to be 19x12. He immediately said "It's in the contract". He was wrong as the contract clearly stated the deck was to be 19x12. | |They cut holes in cement patio, made a huge mess and promised to clean it up. I sent the owner an email indicating I was very disappointed that they left such a mess. His response was "We'll clean it up if you think it's necessary." He did not apply sealer to decking and when I mentioned that his response was "We didn't think about that". | |The job was done to my satisfaction but the bottom line here is: Make sure you get everything in writing! Greg Neff (owner of Sunspace) promised me all kinds of things but never followed through with many of them.
