+ -1 moreWhen I got the quote one of the factors of why I chose JT Arborist was the fact he said they would come back in the spring and for $50 he would put fertilizer states in. Well its spring and when I called them now they say it will be $125 2 1/2 times what they told me last fall. He said gas and fertilizer are more expensive and he will not eat the extra cost. Be very careful if you are thinking about going with JT Arborist.

Description of Work: After requesting quotes from several Arborists/Landscapers, we were most impressed with JT Arborists. | |We were looking to have an old and dying Russian Elm removed from our property, in addition to having 8 stumps ground down from some out of control bushes in our backyard. | |Not only was JT Arborists significantly lower in price, they responded quickly and clearly to my request for a quote. Once we agreed to work with them, they came to perform the job in under a week! | |Tree and roots, as well as shrub roots, were dismantled and ground very quickly. All the chips and scraps were removed as well! They even chipped a large pile of brush I had created when first cutting down my shrubs this spring. | |Really great guys performing the work and they were polite and courteous as well. | |I will definitely call them again next time I have landscaping or tree service needs.

+ -1 moreIn order to prepare the east side of our drive for landscapin, the buckthorn along a bank and into the back of driveway needed to come down and stumps sprayed to deter comeback. JTA crew started around 8 am and we're done by 1 pm. They chipped all the trees and dumped chips where I could use them as needed. Cost was less than I expected.

+ -1 moreArrived earlier than expected and started right into work. In an hour the BIG tree was down, cleared away, and the new one planted. Workers barely stopped for lunch. All were pleasant and courteous. Owner came by several times to check progress. They cleaned up all the mess and were careful about dogs and furniture. We will definitely use him again and recommend him to others.
Description of Work: Removed BIG dead tree, planted another, cleared 1/4 acre of thick brush, including buckthorn, all in one day!
