Efficient service. Even as a new customer in the heat of summer, was able to get an appointment within a few days. And when there was a cancellation, I was able to get service even sooner.

My furnace went out on a Sunday and I called the emergency number listed on their website. One of the technicians called me back within 15 minutes. While I was on the phone he helped me troubleshoot the situation. Unfortunately none of the things he mentioned worked. He then told me the cost difference for coming out on Sunday vs. waiting until Monday and my wife and I decided to wait (luckily it didn't drop below freezing that night). He came out early the next morning, and called me telling me that my furnace was fixed for less than $200. My wife and I were very pleased with the entire process.

Called Dave Droegkamp Heating for a quote on replacing my central air unit, which had stopped working. Their representative Dan made an appointment and came out and quoted me a price that was much better than a previous quote from another firm. He also quoted me on replacing my 23-year-old furnace, and offered a discount to replace both of them at the same time. I also received discounts for not financing and for being an Angie's List member! I accepted the quote, and two days later the crew arrived to do the work. They did a great job, and completed everything in just over 5 hours! Great price, outstanding service, and I would recommend them any time!

Reschedule a service until mid-July. Totally unacceptable

I was able to get an appointment at the time I requested two days after calling them. (I still had heat.) The service person John arrived on time early in the morning, identified the issue and did his best to repair it. The furnace was very old and the part that needed replacement couldn't be obtained. For safety reasons he decided to shut it down and replace it that day. The whole crew was excellent, from John arranging financing to the crew installing the new furnace. They were respectful, friendly, and kept my house clean by placing a tarp on the floor from the back door to the basement door. I was able to work from home with a space heater in my office that day, so I didn't freeze while waiting for the installation crew to arrive and get the new furnace installed. I checked in on them a couple times and was amazed at how fast the project was getting done. The price was lower than I expected and John covered all the options I had. He did an excellent job of measuring and determining the correct furnace to order. The new furnace along with the connecting ductwork they fabricated fits like a glove where the old furnace had been! I no longer have to worry that my house is going to blow up when the furnace comes on. As a bonus, I had a whole house humidifier installed, which I couldn't do on my old furnace. Say bye to room humidifiers!

The salesperson gave us many options, and we liked that we could replace just our furnace, and keep our existing AC unit, until it fails, keeping our overall costs way down. Also, to be competitive, they also included a free upgrade to a programmable / wifi thermostat, which we have greatly enjoyed, compared to our old cumbersome programmable one. We also qualified for both a energystar rebate, as well as a tax rebate, both of which they provided the necessary certificates / paperwork.

The process went well. An estimator reviewed our situation and provided several quotes. As soon as we accepted one of the quotes, the work was scheduled and completed in a professional manner.

the capacitor cost is 35.00, they charged me 149.00 for the part and 109.00 for service call, the apprentice did the work while the leader played with my dog, they were here aprox 15 min it disappointing that they would ripe me off for an extra 100.00 after we have been a long time customer for last 15 years

We use them for tune ups of the furnace, and they were the ones who installed it. I haven't had any problems with them. They installed the heating system; I believe when the house was built and I'm happy with it, so I would say they are a good company.

I have an annual service contract with them. It is a three year contract. I would definitely use them again. One person comes out and it takes about an hour.

Arrived on time. Cleaned AC unit. Added refrigerant. Checked system for proper operation. Everything went fine.

I've been using them as my heating and A/C contractor for years. They're very good. I use them all the time. I like them. They have prompt service. They are pleasant people. They have a fair price. They're not necessarily the cheapest but they're fair. I would definitely use them in the future.

It did take a little bit to get a morning appointment, but my husband's and my work schedules are impossible. We opted to wait it out without heat because we've used DD before and had a great experience. Once again, we were not let down. They are punctual, honest and courteous!

Our air conditioning went out today on one of the hottest days of the year. Since it was a Sunday, we knew it was going to be expensive, but we called anyway. We called the emergency line and the lady took our information. She said someone would call shortly. We received a call about 15 minutes later from Tom. He asked what the problem was and I told him the air was out and that the outside unit was not working. He said he thought it was a capacitor which is a very common problem. He said he had one on his truck and was working on another job, but could be over in about 1-2 hours. He called about 1 1/2 hours later and said he was on his way. He came in and checked the unit in the basement, then went outside to check that unit. He pulled out the capacitor and showed me that it was bad. He replaced it, checked everything again and it came right back on. It took about 30 minutes. Great guy! Very professional. They originally installed our system when we built our house. We had them out one other time prior to this and I would hire them again. Great service.

I like them. They're personable, they seem to know what they're doing with the product and the price. They're close, they're responsive, and I like the people.

Dave Droegkamp Heating stickers were on the furnace when I purchased my house the middle of last year. My furnace began making a high-pitched squeling noise when the furnace was running. Being fairly new to the area, I checked Dave Droegkamp out on Angie's List and based on the all the A reivews, I went on Dave Droegkamp's website and made a request for someone to come out to check my furnace. I received a phone call from Dave Droegkamp Heating the next morning and explained the problem. The woman on the phone explained the pricing and set-up an appointment for a technician to come out later that week. Either later that day or the next day I received a call back from Dave Droegkamp Heating letting me know the schedule had opened up and an appointment later that day was available. Unfortunately I was not able to take that appointment and kept my appointment for later in the week. On the day of service I received a phone call from the technician asking for directions since my address was not coming up on GPS. The technician was professional, polite and told me he would be there shortly. The technician arrived about 10 minutes after the phone call. He arrived at my front door, came in and put booties on over his shoes. He was very good around my skiddish dog. I explained the problem I was having (and how it stopped after I set-up the appointment) and showed the technician where the furnace was located. The technician pulled apart the furnace, did several checks and let me know the inducer was my problem. The technician explained the inducer was working as it should during the visit and that it didn't need to be replaced immediately. He took the time to explain why the inducer was making the noises it was and the most likely reasons the noises stopped. The technician took the time to fully answer all my questions about the inducer. I decided to go ahead and have the inducer replaced. The technician went back to his truck, obtained a new inducer and installed it in my furnace. During the technician's visit, I asked that he also check to make sure my furnace was not using more gas than it needed. The technician asked why I wanted to know that and I explained the excessive energy bills I have been incurring and the expectations the energy company had on me to do some preliminary work before the energy company would come out. After the inducer was installed, the technician went above and well beyond in customer service - he helped me with shutting off the gas and electric to ensure my meters stopped (I live in a condo). Both meters stopped. The technician then turned almost everything back on and gave me some really good ideas as to some of the culprits that I didn't think of. He didn't turn the gas fireplace back on as one of the problems might be related to the gas fireplace (I was in full agreement as I didn't know if the fireplace had ever been serviced or cleaned). The technician also explained he smelled a bit of gas when he was near the meters which prompted me to call the gas company to check it out (as of this writing I am waiting for the gas company to arrive). I am incredibly pleased with the service I received from Dave Droegkamp Heating and will be using them in the future!
