It went well. the sales rep came out to my home to see what unit I should get and then explained all systems to me. He had brochures and prices. When I decided on a unit, they came out promptly and installed the unit in a short time. They were prompt, neat and clean. They explained everything to me and how to use it. I had Droegkamp install my furnace, so I knew the quality of their work. I'm very satisfied and my breathing is much better with my new air system.

The electrician came to our house on time and was able to diagnose the problem quickly. He was able to fix the issue within the hour and everything works perfect!

Wanted to replace existing furnace and a/c in part due to the age of my old units as well as to have new units installed in a different location within my basement. I obtained quotes from a total of three highly reviewed Angie List companies. Prices were all very similar between the three companies and my research on particular brands proved to be inconclusive and what I ultimately gathered is that a unit is only good as the installer. I finally chose Droegkamp due to positive experience I had with the salesperson. He provided multiple quotes, a pressure free visit and estimate and was extremely personable and knowledgeable. I particularly liked that he was a former installer so I had some comfort that he knew what he was talking about rather than just giving me a sales pitch. We had many discussions regarding sizing of the unit so it was comforting knowing that he was open to my questions and concerns and had was available for open communication. Installers were on time, polite, got the work done in one day and left the job area clean. They were able to relocate the unit in a different spot in the basement which was a very important part of this job. A couple issues did arise after the installation: 1) the pilot light in my gas water heater somehow blew out during the installation process and 2) a heat register they installed "faced" the incorrect way. Both issues were rectified quickly by the salesperson. Particularly, he had a tech out within a few hours of my call to relight the pilot light. All in all, I won't know just how positive the whole experience will be until 15-20 years from now when I hope both units are still running. That being said, all levels of interaction I've had with the company from sales to installation to the two service calls have been outstanding. I knocked them down to a B on price because frankly I just don't like to spend money, but their quotes were right on par with other highly reviewed competitors. I definitely don't feel their price was excessive and, most importantly, the level of service was excellent and worth any small difference between the other company's quotes. Bottom line, I absolutely will recommend Droegkamp to anyone who asks and I will use Droegkamp to perform annual maintenance.

My tenant called to say the a/c was not working. So i went to Angies List and found great reviews for this company. An appointment was set for the very next day. They were very prompt, courteous, and reasonably priced. I will call on them again if another problem arises.

We called up Droegkamp to take a look at our (very old) AC unit, which had stopped working. DH&AC was able to send two technicians, Andy and Joe, to our house the same day that we called. Both technicians were extremely friendly, professional and thorough in their assessment and diagnosis. They ran a full inspection of the AC unit, as well as our furnace to be sure that there weren't any major issues along any part of the system. After replacing a blown fuse, running the full inspection and a detailed debriefing, the entire service call was completed in about an hour. We were advised on the remaining lifespan of the unit and a possible issue specific to our model of furnace. They also gave recommendations regarding replacing our AC unit without being pushy or salesman-y. As first-time homeowners, we found the information to be extremely helpful, and will definitely contact DH&AC in the future.

Our A/C went out just as we were having record high temperatures, of course. I called Droegkamp Heat and A/C because they were recommended by our condo management company and Angie's List. They were able to come to my home the same day I called. I so appreciated that they would call me 20 minutes prior to arriving at my house, so I could stay at my place of work until that time. Mark was very nice, and was able to diagnose the problem quickly- a circuit board has failed. They don't normally carry that part on their trucks, but he was able to track it down to a warehouse and make sure that it could be delivered to Droegkamp and then installed the next day. Joe came the next day- again, 20 minutes after they called to let me know they were coming. He was also very nice, got the part installed and our A/C was back up and running in no time. The A rating for price is really just an assumption since I didn't shop around. I was able to use the 10% off coupon on the Angie's List website. The service was quick and courteous. With the 20 minutes to arrival calls I was able to take minimal time off from work. The person I first spoke to when I called was very sympathetic to our plight of no A/C in 100 degree weather!

I called the office first thing in the morning, and was delighted to hear they could come out that day. I was given a time between 10 and 2, and told they would call about 45 minutes before arriving. The office called, but then it was actually about 1 hour 15 minutes more. Once there, the technicians were very polite and professional. I was prepared for the worst, expecting to be told I needed a whole new outside unit, but was pleasantly surprised to hear it was just a $20 part. I was charged for that and a service call. They also inspected the system and found nothing else wrong. Very positive experience! They recommended I have them back in the fall to do an inspection of my heating system, which was overdue. I will most definitely do that, and will use them for any hvac issues in the future.

Both my furnace and a/c are almost 20 yrs old. The service person explained to me what work had been done on them in the past and what I should expect in the next couple of years.I will be using them again.

The repair went very smooth and at a reasonable cost. They are a "feel good" company. The problem was found in less then an hour and the repair completed in less then 3 hrs. They had the part in inventory and they came prepared to do the job. A new sheet metal piece was made in advance and looks like it belongs. Great job !

Very well. They patiently answered all of my questions and walked around with me to explain how the venting in the basement was working and checked all of the ducts to find out where the ticking sound was coming from and resolved that issue. After the humidifier was installed, they showed me how to use it, how to change the filter and provided the documentation. Very nice. Cleaned up everything and you didn't even know they were here. Bonus item in that they replaced a flexible line that looked awful - only because it was in the way of where they wanted to put the humidifier - but still a bonus.

Called made the appointment, we were given a window of when the Tech would be at the house. Tech called, right on time, came out, diaganosed the problem, explained to us what the issue was fixed it, wrote up the bill includeing the Angies List discount, and was gone. Very professional, could not be happier with the service provided.

Service man arrived on time. I had set up a different date, but was called a day earlier to find out if he could come that day after a time slot had opened up. That worked out even better for me. The service man was very professional. He checked out the furnace and the AC. He did the work necessary to maintain both, and told me all the work that he had done as well and gave me a written detailed account of the work done on my billing papers. I would definitely call on them again.

I actually had called to get an estimate for replacement of our central air; ours had been dying repeatedly for the last few years. My wife and I weren't thrilled to shell out the money, but we have a baby, and the temperature was heading into the exceptionally high range. Upon arriving, Dan proceeded to check our house for what we needed. However, upon seeing our unit, he mentioned that he had worked in service previously and asked if he might just look at it. Within minutes he had it running, could show me the switch that was NOT engaging (unless you did so manually), and suggested that they send someone to service it, not sell us a new one. Less than 24 hours later, everything was cool. Droegkamp may have lost the sale (for now), yet their honesty and effectiveness have ensured that I'll be calling them when the unit does eventually die. Until then, my wife and baby are happily refrigerated. Thanks guys!

It was a great experience. I did have another estimate from a different company who is on Angie's list. Their price quoted was significantly higher and they did not even come out to our home. Pete M. came to our home and went over everything in detail and was very patient and thorough. He then gave me a quote via email and some options. We dcided on one of the options and even got a discount as a member of Angie's list. The y came on the day they promised and Chad did an excellent job. I met him before he did the job and he told me exactly what would be done. I was not sure if I would make it back to see him when it was done and they were going to just mail me a bill. However, I was able to catch him just as he finished. He explained everything and gave me a book about the fan. Everything was cleaned up and the fan is working perfectly. Chad was very personable and did an excellent job. My experience with this company was great.

We've used Droegkamp for close to 10 years. They've put in a new furnace and a new air conditioner for us. This weekend our wireless thermostat went out so we had no heat upstairs. I spoke to Droegkamp first thing on Monday and they had a technician at our house by noon. They also researched the warranty on the thermostat and we only had to pay for the service call.

They come in quickly, once you call. They were very prompt and their time frame was very good. They also give attractive discounts. I have been using them; from the time I have bought the system and will continue to use the same in future.
